Ordered for delivery and was told 45 minutes to an hour, which is standard and expected. After an hour and twenty minutes I called to inquire, was told the driver was en route......15 minutes later I called again, Sat on hold for 8 minutes. Carlos (the manager) informed me that our delivery guy got caught in traffic due to protests, however the delivery driver didn't follow the instructions of which the delivery sequence was suppose to go. Carlos, you should hire team members that care about having a job, there are plenty of people in need! Naturally I'm suree you could predict that the end result was that food would be delivered an hour and 45 minutes later COLD! Not the case, after speaking with the delivery driver, number provided by the store, his first claim was that he would be there in one minute, then said 60 second, them in conversation about how long ago this was expected he told me he came and called but no one answered!!!!! I am in a high rise with a door guy! Driver claims "he didn't talk to the door guy" Food never came!!!!!! Outrageous!
Had it been told to me delivery would be almost 2 hours I, a) would have opted for pick up or, b) gone with a different pizza place....... There are plenty to choose from and my experience is that most want your business! I also believe that the single star is to much! Unfortunately it was the only option to be allowed to express the challenge!
In regard to your reply--trump protests....... I live .7 miles away! It is no longer about the wait but the horrific communication and service provided! I have waited on hold for over 20 minutes combined, I have been lied to by thedriver and store manager, the food has still not arrived. It is almost 2.5 hours later!

I placed an order online for a pizza and bread, and the website provided a coupon code for $5 off, which was appreciated. I placed the order and waited in the hotel lobby.
This pizza did not arrive for another two and half hours. The website has no options to view an order status, nor do they message you to let you know that you haven't been forgotten. We called at the two hour mark, and whoever answered the phone sounded irritated as they told us that a delivery driver would call us soon and hung up. This was without asking for our order number or a phone number.
I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. They were probably swamped with late night orders and were having trouble keeping up, and I would have understood the wait if they had kept us updated. An order tracker or an estimated wait time during busy hours would have made a massive difference, so the longer we waited, we were concerned we wouldn't get our food.
The delivery driver left our pizza and cheesy bread with hotel staff. To their credit, the pizza itself was still warm and it tasted pretty good. I liked the cheese and it was sauced just right. The cheesy bread was good too, but we paid extra for a cup of parmesian garlic sauce that tasted like it had gone bad a week ago, so we had to throw that sauce out.
