This restaurant was recommended to me by my little sister’s best friend. The three of us stopped in late Sunday night after a night out. We were greeted by Chunky and Ashley and I must say they are two of the sweetest people I have ever met. We were celebrating my birthday and they all sang to me! Chunky was so friendly and funny and Ashley was so sweet. The hospitality was unmatched and the food was amazing for such a late night meal it was very fresh and it didn’t take long at all! I will definitely be back to try a burger next time if your looking for a late night meal with some awesome conversation I 10/10 recommend this spot! We had a ribeye steak sandwich with bacon and fries and a cheeseburger with a side of hash browns.

While I usually love steak n egger this woman made my experience terrible! If you come in and see her, leave. She hates her job and gives customers unnecessary attitude due to her own personal issues. I asked this lady to give me a receipt or some type of bill to see what I was being charged for before paying (a common thing done in business), she refused and said that I could see my bill AFTER I paid. She also got my order wrong, which is why I asked to see my bill before being charged. After charging me and seeing that my bill was wrong she refused to fix it or refund me for overcharging me.

This place is a true gem. The breakfasts are hands down amazing. You get hearty helpings that taste great. The cup of pico makes it that much more special. I go with a sausage and egger breakfast with srambled eggs, hash browns, wheat toast, and an extra cup of pico on the side. Hits the spot every time. Picked up an order for a co-worker, and she raved about the food. It's not a big spot, and doesn't look like a touristy place, but it's more than makes up for it in ambience and personality. The staff there early morning are incredible. This spot defines Chicago.

I called in an order this morning for the $9.99 Steak and Egg special to be told by the server who identified herself as Sam that they weren't running the special anymore. She then offers a T-Bone for $12.99 with wheat toast and mixed fruit jelly. So I order the T-bone and asked for it to be cooked medium rare. As we arrive in the parking lot there's a huge sign with the steak special for $9.99. I question her about it and she insist that the sign is old and they are not running the special anymore. Then I show her the dry erase board over the cash register which clearly shows the special for $9.99. I ask her when will the manager be in and at first she says an hour then she tries to pass the cook off as the manager. However, there was a customer who said he is friends with Carlos the manager and that he will be there in an hour. She leaves our food out in a bag sitting on the counter while she serves other customers. I get to work and I have a well done touch piece of leather passed off for steak. The food is cold. No jelly or serving utensils. My friend was missing pico de gallo, jelly and serving utensils from her order. The last time I was there (less than two weeks ago) the service was good and the food was perfect. However, it's hard to mess up a veggie omelet. My experience today was horrible and due to the poor customer service I don't envision myself patronizing this establishment again. Manager off today but plan on speaking to him first thing in the morning when I return this poorly prepared breakfast. .

Update: I gave them a third star because the follow-up with Carlos went well. Carlos apologized for the bad experience I had and replaced my meal in it's entirety. I appreciate his customer service and that he did not...

Whatever thought you have looking at it, is so . I go in dine in today 04/01/2023 for breakfast and order dinner to go . 4 meals varies prices ; mind you the prices are cheap /affordable. I ordered dinner because of the pictures advertised and declined dessert because of the final price and it’s distasteful appearance(reminds of the cake the little boy had to eat by himself on Matilda in front of everyone), please and didn’t look fresh for chocolate cake , apple pie slices , and danishes . My bill come up to $56 .00 this includes NO CASH CHARGE of $1.88 , for using my card . I ask the rude waitress why is my bill so high ,” oh honey you got four meals 2 breakfast for dine in and dinner to go and used a card . That’s what’s the computer told me when I put it in . “I’m so disappointed and even more so the waitress didn’t wear any gloves nor hairnet and the young cook didn’t either and was on his phone the entire time . I had good memories of this place from when I was little and wanted to share that with my children when went but was highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the service provided. I WONT RETURN NOR RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!!! YOU ALL NEED...

This was my second time at this location. I came back because the food and service was excellent, but this second time around.. The same people were in attendance as the first. The waitresses did an awesome job. The cook Tony, on the other hand. He was very rude over onions, mushrooms, and cheese that I paid for to go inside my hashbrowns when I placed my order. The lady said Tony it's on the ticket and that I paid for it he told her to shut up. My order was over 100 bucks, including tip. I said if you can't make them correct to refund me my money. He eventually, after complaining, did mushrooms and onions with the hashbrowns, meaning he still forgot the cheese. I said, "Hey Tony, what about the cheese he opened the container and threw it on top. Like, sir, I work hard for my money the same way you are working for yours. It wasn't a last minute add on its what I initially asked for. He started complaining to the staff, and they all said Tony she's a paying customer, just get it right. Ladies, thank you for your hard work. This location will never get another penny of my money as long as...
