In total, I paid $75.90. I paid a 15% tip on $66 dollars which was the cost of the haircut + beard trim. It was a mid fade with long top, with gel nothing special. When the beard trim came along, they pampered me with shaving cream and a nice warm towel. I came in at 8:30am today for the appointment I set a day prior. I think it's a tad bit overpriced since I've had cheaper in the area with similar results and service (I was just testing this one out as a first time goer). But I had an important event I had to attend so this was a fine price. Cut was great, service was great, nothing else to complain about. Although, I wish there was more transparency about pricing instead of "price varies". Establishing a set price for services could help with confidence when purchasing. Adrian is a good barber and The staff is attentive and consistent they will remember your name. Prices have increased which I think it is because Pilsen is a trending neighborhood which is the down side. For $36-$40 without tip for standard hair cut I would like a complimentary beverage, hair washed w, product, and a quick back massage. Coming from Austin TX at the Bowie off of 5th street and Denver CO at Alfani’s off of Coalfax in Capitol Hill Neighborhood. Scheduled an appointment 5 days prior to date and time. The shop forgot to confirm until I called in the day before. The day of, 4 hrs before the appointment, they shifted my time for increased shop "efficiency". When I showed up on time I still had to wait 15 minutes over. At the front of the store there's a sign stating if you show up 5 minutes late you can lose your spot. The saving grace for my first experience was a decent cut.
