Chile Caliente — Restaurant in West Columbia

I order a chicken Milanesa and they gave me steak milanesa. When I went back to tell the lady she said they don't have chicken Milanesa but they didn't advise me that they don't do chicken Milanesa. But never offer to gave me the money back because it was their fault. On top of that there were ladies in the payment area, they already order they were just there standing, another guy came after me and the lady was taking his order, knowing I was there standing waiting to get my order, she didn't have the respect to at least asked me if I order and she saw me standing there. Then she was looking at me with attitude. When she was trying to take the guy order I asked her how things worked to order and if there is a line because I came first and I already had like 5 minutes trying to figure out how to order. I just had dinner at Chile Caliente, a new Mexican restaurant that opened just four weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything ran. For being so new, the staff already works together like a well-oiled machine—friendly, attentive, and professional. Customer service was excellent, and my entire order was brought out quickly and appeared to be made fresh.

The carne asada tacos were solid (comparable to other popular spots in the area), but the real standout was the shrimp ceviche tostada. Hands down one of the best I’ve had in a long time! Fresh, zesty, and perfectly balanced.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!! 🤢 I had to return to edit my review. We got steak tacos from the food truck , they were greasy and bland but we ate them and I initially gave it a fair review of that ! Until several hours later when we returned home!! Omg ! My husband and I were so sick ! And we both still have upset stomachs 3 days later. I’m sure it’s food poisoning! Or maybe a bacterial infection from rank old meat .. I’m hoping we’ll not have to go to the ER this weekend and can make it until seeing the doctor on Monday .. terrible terrible experience!
