Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

The only reason I even gave them one star is because I have to just to post a review. The older black lady that's working at about 4-4:30am is rude as hell. When I first walked in and told her I had tried calling my order in she said she didn't answer the phone because she simply didn't want to. I brushed it off with a smile and proceeded to order my food.. My total was 30.29 and I handed her 40.00 (2 twenty dollar bills) and then she brought the change bk to me, I was in such a hurry I didn't think to count it behind her. When I got to work and went to put the change in my wallet I realized that she only gave me 9 dollars and the remaining change from the 29 cent.I immediately tried calling once again and to no surprise got no answer... I will never return to this location ever.. The employees at this location are very rude and have no respect for customers period. Management needs to do something before the lose more customers other than me. I'm sure I'm notnot the first one this has...

These poor ppl seemed to be short handed! 1 lady couldn't get her orders called out right to save her soul but what I liked is that the manager stopped making waffles and helped to clear the payment line, put on gloves and made drinks, passed out food and helped prepare meat and eggs. She wasn't just standing there but she was flowing from 1 end of the restaurant to the other. We, as well as every customer after us, were greeted upon entering. Our food was cooked as fast as possible despite them having a packed house. The waitress was very friendly and professional. My son was very happy with his chocolate chip waffles. Update....today was a good visit. The ladies were a lil slow to come to us but once the Did the service we received was fast. They were super friendly. Dont eat here!!! I USED TO come often and usually pretty good food. Today on THANKSGIVING Horrible! FIRST I try to eat the sandwith just so I can calm my hunger. (When your hungry anything is good) but NO IT WAS WAY TOO greasy,barely any meat and ect. I don't want to get started with appearently the manager Mrs. Srn*. At the waffle House 2506 August Rd.
