Del Taco — Restaurant in West Covina

God, this has to be one of the dirtiest fast food places I've been to in a looong time. Most the tables were dirty and the other ones that HAD been wiped down had shiny "wipe marks" that told me A) they had been wiped down, but B) they were wiped down with some dirty towel that certainly hadn't been using any kind of sanitizing solution. The floor was sticky or otherwise dirty almost everywhere. The area by the drink station was absolutely filthy and six of the nine plastic containers that were (I assume) supposed to hold utensils and such, were missing or empty.

There was also what appeared to be a homeless man with a bottle wrapped in a brown bag eating at a booth. I seriously didn't want to touch a thing in there. Not their fault about the homeless guy but do corporations allow anyone to drink alcohol in their establishments? No one seemed to care at all.

There actually was a girl who swept out the bathroom.....and that was it, never saw her again.

Another girl took her break as I left, again, completely unconcerned about the beer bottle or the state of the dining room. Makes me shudder to think what the back area looks like. Don't think I'll be back here any time soon....or at all.

The girl who took my order WAS nice and I would have given this place two stars just for that but the sheer "grossness" of this place deserves one...

I was disappointed by the condition of the food when it was given to me. I had ordered a #4 combo, which is a double del cheeseburger, fries and drink. The cheeseburger was squished to the point that you could not tell it had two patties without taking it apart. The bun was pressed down and the whole thing looked less appetizing than a public school cafeteria burger. Half the lettuce was in the box instead of being on the burger. I also ordered a del taco. It was so poorly wrapped that when I took it out of the bag, half of the filling spilled out. I've purchased hundreds of fast food tacos in my life and I've never had this happen. And it's not as though they were super busy at the time. I was the only customer inside the building to order (I ate in my car), and there was only one car in the drive-thru (and they handled that person's order ahead of mine) . No excuse for this. It tasted ok, but I didn't know I was going to have to assemble all of this myself. If I had, I would have...

Horrible service , got home opened my bag of food to discover 4 items missing , 3 items sloppy just thrown in a wrapper. Called to tell them they didn't give me my complete order and they refused to refund my money even after the woman at window acknowledge she didn't give me my items because they were on her counter still. She stated , well it's not a lot of money , I told her , that's not the point I came home with half my order and now I had to go get more food elsewhere for my self because I gave my daughter my food . She says sorry no money back . So basically they steal yr money , give you sloppy food thrown in a wrapper . Not to mention I was the only person in drive threw place was empty , so how do you mess up an order during this time . Sad this location use to be good , serviceand food...
