Don Lencho's Authentic Mexican Food — Restaurant in West Covina

Looking forward to having dinner here...BUT it was disappointing. Ordered cheese enchiladas and a chile relleno. The enchiladas were good with plenty of cheese. The chile relleno was a total Fail. Tony, who happened to be the host, cashier, waiter and and cook possibly did not know how to prepare the egg batter for the chile relleno. So my chile was wrapped in an egg blanket. He fried an egg and covered my chile in it. My daughter had the same, so hers was the same too. He should have just said they're our of chiles instead. The owner was walking out of the restaurant as we arrived and returned as we were ready to leave. I brought it to his attention and he said I'm just a customer I don't work here. Pretty sad. To be honest, I really dislike to wait too long to get my food when I go out to eat, except when the food tastes really good. If you are looking for a place to eat delicious food and don't care about the wait, I recommend you trying Don Lencho. I've live many years around this area and never heard of Don Lencho, thanks to google maps we found it. EVERYTHING we ordered tasted so good and definitely going back again! My daughters are picky eaters and they loved their food. Green and red pozole were delicious. You must try their Pancakes. FOR STARTERS THIS GAVE MOST OF MY FAMILY FOOD POISONING Just heard about the reviews and seemed okay so thought i would take the family we got there and waited for 30 minutes before being served even drinks.
