Dough Dudes Pizza — Restaurant in West Covina

Dough Dudes Pizza is inside Haven City, the new food court in West Covina. I walked around this food hall, starting from the entrance. I wandered over to this left side of the hall and found something I wanted to eat - pizza! Whereas other places had lines, this vendor seemed to be needing some customers. It made me a little uneasy (but I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe the clientele here doesn't really eat pizza?).

The guy who took my order was very friendly! I wish that during the interaction he could have talked about the business, like how they got started, where they get their ingredients, what their popular items are. This is a new experience for many people since Haven City is so new. It would be nice to know some information that makes them stand out or memorable.

I got the margherita pizza $19. It was such a huge pizza. For being in a food hall, I imagine that people like to order things here and there from different vendors and come together to share and try. A huge pizza like this doesn't really fit that style. I ended up carrying a huge box back to the car because I had leftover slices. Perhaps they could consider selling pizza...

I really respect the staffs commitment to ensuring every piece that they send out is of upmost quality! Pizzas quality is absolutely phenomenal in itself, so no notes on that. Ordered one pizza and when I went to pick it up I noticed two boxes, in which the staff explained that a hole was burnt in the original pizza which is why they remade it and essentially gave us a free extra pizza. Assuming the hole was likely of a substantial size I understood why they possibly remade it, yet when i opened the box of the original pizza I noticed that the hole was the size of a quarter! For such a minuscule flaw, them ensuring that we still received another pizza entirely raised my opinion of this place to...

Dough Dudes is a new pizza spot in the New Haven City Market in West Covina. It’s the only pizza place in the complex, so if you’re craving pizza, this is the place to go.

I tried both The Dude pizza and the Hawaiian. The Hawaiian was excellent, especially because they use fresh pineapple sliced daily instead of the usual canned variety. It really elevated the flavor.

While I liked the Hawaiian, I loved The Dude pizza. The generous amount of pepperoni meant I got a piece in every bite. But what really stood out was their Calabrian chili oil—it added a delicious and aromatic edge that took the pizza from great to amazing.
