Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in West Covina

The staff was very nice and helpful, restuarant was very clean as was their restrooms. I remember growing up Shakey's had a pizza call "California Pizza" my parents use to get this pizza all the time as kids we didn't enjoy but after a few pieces it was my go to pizza, this was also a way for us to eat our veggies. They don't serve this pizza anymore, after I gave this big talk about the pizza to my wife (who never had it) and was told, sorry we don't serve that pizza anymore, you're the second person today who ask about that pizza. The mojos are never a disappointment they're known for them and fried chicken too😋 if you haven't tried their bunch a lunch you should, it gives you the opportunity to try all different kinds of pizzas they have on their menu. I know it's hard to think about eating at a buffet during these times. However, I had to try to bunch of lunch buffet after smelling the delicious pizza scent in the air. I noticed it was a little empty yet saw the employee swiping everything down nonstop. It put me at ease and the pizza and mojos were so good. Nostalgia took me to a happy place and the variety was great. Veggie, traditional pepperoni, hawian, and meat pizza were on my plate. The chicken was on point and the mojos were so crispy. Had to hit the salad bar to give myself some balance on the meal. You can't go wrong when the eating area, drinking fountain, salad bard, and food line are constantly sanitized. You have been Removed from families pizza list . We have been eating at this location back when it was Marie Callender's . Being now disabled and hard to get around, all I wanted was for some pizzas to be delivered last Saturday afternoon . Was Rudley told by whoever answered the phone that they no longer deliver . I asked if I should order from a competitor and was told yes. So I will do what I can to keep my Family , Friends and whoever I talk with from eating at your establishment.
