We haven't eaten Burger King in quite a while...a few years at least. The main reason we started going again is because of their coupons. They usually arrive with one of the savings pack that has fliers & menus...etc. The deals you get with these coupons are quite good and a little hard to pass up when you need to grab & go. There are three BKs within a reasonable distance to home making it convenient. The food is fine...no problems there. Unfortunately...of the three... we have had issues with two of them to the point that one night we had the problems on the same night back to back. The first one we went to only had one person to make all of the orders while the other worked the drive-thru. When we finally reached the window we were told it was a 15-20 minute wait. By this time there were two other cars behind us and three ahead and no way to get out of line. Finally the cars behind us sensed something was happening and they both backed out so we were able to get out of the drive-thru lane. It was getting late and we weren't in a mood to cook so we decided to try one of the other locations. Turns out BK was not to be had that night...the second location was not able to process credit/debit cards since their machine was down. Not only was cash required...it had to be the exact amount. Certainly not something very common these days. Apparently this happened a lot at this location due to an old machine that went down often...hmmmm! McDonald's it was. Since then we have learned to just go straight to the third location automatically despite it being the furthest. So far...knock on wood...we haven't had any problems at that location. I wish I was able to identify all three locations but off the top of my head I'm not positive and wouldn't want to misidentify which was which. If I figure it out I will edit this review with the correct...
Read moreIt's like they don't want business. There's practically no visible menu at the drive thru, you'll need to have their menu memorized if you want something other than a value meal. They also don't take bills higher than a $20, which isn't posted until you've pulled up to order. So, if they're not taking credit cards (which happens often) and all you have is a $50, you're outta luck. Compound this with the fact that you can't get out of the drive thru line because there's literally no exit until you're past the pickup window, you're pretty much stuck in line because you couldn't use your card or legal tender. This happened to me! Once I was able finally wait my way through the line, I went to Wendy's across the street. They're great, by the way.
They're wildly inaccurate when you can order. The building in general is a mess. They run out of the most simple things (like Coke, who runs out of Coke?).
And all of this is just the drive-thru. If you're ever able to go inside (thanks, COVID) prepare to stand and wait, with no one else in line, for up to 15 minutes until someone feels like taking your order. I've watched this happen on multiple occasions and saw at least 10 people walk out because they got tired of waiting.
It's a real shame. As far as fast food burgers go, I really like BK. For me, it's my favorite comfort food. But this place makes it practically impossible to enjoy it. It's amazing they're still in business. It's the worst managed/run fast food joint in the...
Read moreLong story short if you are in any kind of hurry at all do not come here. If you think itâs worth waiting 20 minutes possibly for your food at a fast food place then by all means enjoy.
I work nearby at Amazon and I come here in a hurry on my lunch and they take 5 minutes at the drive thru just to finally take your order and this is with being the only car there. It happens every single time. Today I pull up and wait a good 3 or 4 minutes after he tells me to hold and they always do this. So I wait because I placed a mobile order and already paid. I tell him I have one and he waits again another minute then says can you come inside for it. In my mind I think why do I have to but I say yes and go inside. Iâm waiting another 4-5 minutes before they acknowledge me and I tell them who I am and wait again a few more minutes or so and finally get my food. Surpassingly today it is all correct but last time I had no cheese on my whopper. This experience is very common too. If you are lucky enough for them to get your order all correct you will still wait longer than you want. Iâve been here a good 8 times now in a few years or so and itâs been a wait and bad service every single time. Not once was an order correct and I didnât wait long, Today will be my last time going here. I canât wait that long nor is...
