If you want fast and friendly, this is not the place to go late at night! I get off work at 10:30pm and go straight to McDonald's. I arrive at 10:38pm and there is a few cars ahead of me in the drive thru. Not a big deal as a couple of minutes passed and I was at the ordering screen. I find out later that it was the manager Josh that was taking orders. So anyways, not your everyday friendly service from here. Instead I am greeted with a very rude "what can I get you?" I make my first order in a combo meal followed by Josh only saying "ok" without even asking about my drink. I quickly made sure that got corrected, but after everything I say I only get a lowly "ok" which now I'm feeling very unwelcomed here. I get my total and proceed to the end of the line. 3 cars ahead of me I'm thinking no problem. Slowly the line moves. Very, very slowly. My order was placed at 10:41pm and when I finally get to the window, it was 10:57pm. Now I am (not) greeted by Josh himself as he tells me my total, and I give him my card to pay, then I see him swipe my card and then walk away without handing my card back or giving me my drinks I ordered. I got two meals that cost me over $20 ($20.84 to be exact) because they were the special sandwiches from around the world. Then I see two workers come in and come around the counter to help that were out of uniform. I'm watching one of those two grabbing on his junk from the outside of his pants and scrarching on his face, and I watch the other one start grabbung orders and he apparently had to scratch his backside so bad he stuck his hand inside his pants to do this. This really disgusted me and I asked for the supervisor to the window and guess who? Yep! Josh comes to the window and says "what do you want?" Now I'm really upset so I raise my voice and say "I'm waiting for my food!" His response is "Yeah I'm waiting for your food too." This really aggrivated me, but I say nothing after that realizing it was a wasted effort to say anything. At 11:07pm I finally get my food! For a total of 5 cars in front of me, it took 29 minutes from beginning to end times just to get my meal. I live 5 minutes away from this McDonald's on Jordan Creek and when I get home I camnot say that I am not surprised that my order was messed up and the toppings were skimped on big time and the double sandwich was only a single, soda was flat, and the only half way decent thing about my meal was the fries were good, but also skimped on too. By far my worst experience ever from any restaurant, and that speaks volumes because I have been to some really bad places in my lifetime. This McDonald's has totally lost my...
Read moreI visited this location on March 16, 2025, and ordered a 10-piece nugget through the McDonald's app. Despite having three cars in front of me, I waited over 10 minutes in the drive-thru line, which seems to be the new norm at this location. The main concern of this review is the poor critical thinking skills displayed by both the manager and the cashier. The nuggets I received were unpalatable, with poor quality meat and a mushy texture. I immediately spit them out and called McDonald's to request a refund, suspecting that the nuggets were from a bad batch—I've consistently experienced low quality and improper ingredient placement at this location. The cashier informed me that I needed to come in for a refund, which I did. Initially, after showing proof of purchase, I was told that I could receive either cash or a refund to my original payment method. However, I was questioned about why I was returning the nuggets, despite already explaining my dissatisfaction. The cashier seemed to seek a more detailed explanation. When the manager came over, I was told that refunds could only be processed through the app. I accepted this, saying, "Okay, that's fine." However, he looked puzzled and said, "I'm not familiar with the app, so I won't be able to refund you." As a manager, it is crucial to be knowledgeable about the processes, including refunding payments through various methods, like cash or debit (using the same card used for the app purchase). When I asked for cash or a return, the manager said I needed to figure out how to be reimbursed. As the customer, I had no clue where to find the returns option in the app, and since he wasn’t familiar with it either, I was left without a refund and no food. This is not the first time I've had issues with my orders at this location. I once ordered a quarter pounder that was overloaded with pepper—enough to season a whole batch of chicken. This McDonald's location needs significant training and improvement in customer service skills.

Read moreIt's a typical McDonald's. There is nothing negative not positive to say about this particular store. Some days, drive thru can taken 20 minutes and others it is a breeze. The interaction with staff is also pretty hit or miss. I will say that I always get hot and fresh food when I order. Never have I received something cold or old.
Watch out for the entrance from SE14th. The exit and entrance are located at the top of a hill at a blind intersection with four lanes of heavy traffic travelling 40mph. Do yourself a favor and drive through the empty lot behind the insurance building adjacent Walgreens. The emply lot behindish Long John Silver's is made for travel (although potholey) and will save you a headache and being late to work.
The store has been remodeled within the past week, which was weird seeing food made while drywall construction was going on partially behind the counter. I get it is a business, but all that separated the food was a plastic floor to ceiling shower curtain type thing that bypassed the front counter. The distance was less than eight feet. The new store does look pretty nice though, so I'll take the potential asbestos or drywall dust to season my burger and fries.
I'm rating three stars as it's a standard McDonald's and many locally owned ma' and pa' shops do much better.
It's...
