Northern Lights Pizza (104) — Restaurant in West Des Moines

When I walked in to place my to-do order there was only one lady working. The area looked to be clean and well maintained from what all I could see. I ordered a medium Pan Style Supreme with Parmesan "Tasty Crust" (per suggestion) which came with one garlic sauce. I also ordered Parmesan bread sticks, but as you can see from the menu there are other flavor options you can get and the order comes with 3 sauces of choice. I got one of each to keep it simple (Ranch, cheese, marinara). The chees sauce is a nacho cheese like you dip ur pretzel 🥨 into. I have to say I wasn't a fan of the garlic sauce but I did dip into it a couple times. It's not bad, it's just not my first choice. The ranch and marinara are well...ranch and marinara. I didn't count how many bread sticks I received but it's definitely enough for 1-3 + people in my opinion. Adding photos of menu, pizza, and bread sticks....

We ordered pizza again while my granddaughter visited from Charlotte, North Carolina. I order cheese bread which I thought were cheese sticks and since they were 3 of us, I placed three orders. We were surprised with 3 10” pizza bread covered in cheese. When Miss Mary was a child and her father as a child would both order cheese pizza. My Italian husband loves the meat pizza. As we dined on delicious pizza, we discovered that Miss Mary is working at a pizza restaurant while attempting college. So Dr Jim asked her what she thought of our authentic Italian hand tossed pizza, she had to admit that Northern Lights Pizza was far superior than the one she made at her pizza place. Okay so.... we are always searching for new pizza places when we go out of town... honestly picked this one cause I liked the name, and the reviews were good. Well.... it was probably the best choice we ever done made!!! We got pizza and breadsticks, and they were ungodly awesome..as was that garlic dipping sauce! We ordered for 7 people, and honestly had to place a 2nd order again after that.. it was that freaking good! For me, that was the best pizza and breadsticks I've had ever in this state. If you're around town, and looking for some amazing food, this is the place to go! Highly recommend! Now they just need to get one of these places in our hometown of...
