Traveled to this location after fabulous above-and-beyond service at another corporate chipotle franchise establishment restaurant . Went last week. Employee at register RUDE. Said they did not have my online mobile cellular device order. Took a few moments before someone else stepped in and handed me my order. Went home and realized bowl was half full. Whatever. Everyone wakes up on the wrong side of the bed sometimes. Attempted to receive better service last night. Cashier was very pleasant and actually complimented me. Was off to a fantastic start. Get in my new Ford F150 and place my package on my passenger seat. Car starts to reek of CRUDE OIL!!!!!!! my burrito bowl was LEAKING. LEAKING!!!!!! grease went through the bowl. Went through the bag. And seeped deep into my passenger seat. I think Chappell Roan wrote a song about that. Just had my car detailed due to an incident regarding Boba Tea but that is not Chipotle’s concern. Have to get my car detailed again. Read moreToday, I had an unexpectedly frustrating experience at your restaurant. My server was uncharacteristically rude and anxious, and I noticed a lack of attention to the usual quality control standards, such as draining excess liquids from meats before placing them in hard corn shells. SHE WAS WORKING FAR TOO FAST and was clearly inexplicably anxious to a point where I was disturbed. The demand and queue at that like was typical but her response and behavior was unacceptable across the service spectrum. To add to that, I was denied a simple request for a tray to carry my takeout order, something that seemed basic to me. I was later informed that your policy on takeout containers had changed, but when I asked for a tray, I was told it wasn’t available. However, at the register, I was told I could’ve had one on request—something I had already asked for.
I reached out to Chipotle and was told that stores should be flexible when accommodating customer requests within reason. Unfortunately, this was not the case today. The poor service extended beyond what I've described here, and it was quite disappointing.
I expect nothing less than the best from your staff, and I kindly ask that you coach certain team members to ensure better customer experiences in the future. Without improvement, I fear that negative reviews will begin...
