A few weeks ago I bought 2 quarts of hand packed ice cream that were half empty when I got home. 45 minutes from the store. I called 4 times to speak to a manager, who is never there to discuss a credit. Finally I returned to the store to buy ice cream. I asked for the manager and this girl walked over, glaring at me, expressionless. I explained what happened with no reaction, apology or acknowledgement that I was even talking to her! Alex is the most hideous excuse for an on shift supervisor I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with; nasty, rude, unaccommodating and absolutely infuriating! She said she would call the manager and left me sitting there, ignoring me for 40 minutes, made me prepay for my ice cream and raised her voice to me. I waited in line behind 5 people only to be told I couldn't get ice cream because he wasn't trained and they needed a 4th person to come in in an half hour before serving me. I insisted because I didn't want to disappoint my kid. He asked that he take care of the customers behind me 1st. I said ok. Next he couldn't ring my order. Then he had a 5 min convo about his broken down car with another customer ( that had already been served). Every step of getting 2 scoops of ice cream with sprinkles required him to ask his coworker. Girl was on the phone while taking a customer by donut area no wonder it took forever. The shift leader was restocking Icecream while I'm standing waiting to be helped with my son for almost 10 min and she's looking right at us -I worked at dd a long time ago and the first thing my franchisee taught me is if a customer is standing for help you stop what your doing and help the customer and help your co workers it's teamwork.
