Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in West Hartford

Wow! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Wayback Burger restaurant in West Hartford, CT! Absolutely nothing! My boyfriend and I went there for dinner and I was really excited because I never heard of this place, but recently seen a Facebook friend talk about their food and how amazing it is! So, we looked up the prices and seen that it was about the same amount as any well credited burger restaurant ( let me add this that the burgers are sold separately From fries and drink so it will add up) Any who, so We get to the restaurant and right off the bat the customer service was 100%! I walked into a clean, happy environment not only from the customers, but the staff as well. Kay, the manager on shift, gave me a very warm welcomed as I read over the menu! I was then followed up with a warm welcome from Tiara, who was behind the register! Tiara was so kind she went over the menu with us and gave recommendations and suggestions! It was just awesome customer service all around! And the cook Josh was paying attention to our order so that there was no time in between and started right away on making our meal! I got the classic double bacon, with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, mayo and ketchup onnnnn a grilled bread!!!! Lordddddd have mercy when I tell you that my spirit was jumping for joy because that was sooooo good! I thought I died, went to heaven and came back! My boyfriend, Curtis, had the rodeo burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomatoe! He was ecstatic! We both got a side of fries and a milkshake to wash it down! You guys! Amazing!! Just a phenomenal burger! And phenomenal customer service we will definitely be back and strongly recommend for you guys to try...

Eat here often last 2 times ordered and paid for rodeo burger and paid for chili booth times charged for chili but never put on Sandwiche. Called shop was told they to busy to take any phone orders or complaints and hung up the phone. Very Rude possible my last visit to this location. Also observing the employees bump into each and me and my colleague thought they was about to fist fight.update owner responded tried to reach out but was provided a email address that was not valid Update 9/11/23 went again to this location food was good would have been better if is was on time places order at 11:30 for 12 pickup stood inside for 15 minutes before I was recognized as a human being and was told they would make it due to error being I am on my 30 min lunch break I could not enjoy my food so i called asked foe a refund was told i would get one and never did so I paid and didn't get to eat my bag of food which I still sitting in my car i honestly have no plans of returning to this location after 3 major screw ups should i go for a fourth? Get your stuff together if you go service people for lunch I am sure they would enjoy their food in a timely order it is fast food not slow food after all. If my refund is given I will reflect...

I ordered here through Postmates. I ordered the mango habanero chicken sandwich along with bacon and cheese fries and a key lime pie milkshake. Delivery time was good however, the driver arrived with no milkshake in hand. So I called the restaurant and informed Postmates on the app of my experience . The restaurant assured me there was nothing they can do to help with my order unless I was able to come drive and pickup my milkshake as if I did not tio my delivery driver to ensure timely delivery and bring the items to me for a reason. Postmates also refused to partially refund my order they keep insisting that my order is not eligible for a refund. On top of that the fries I received were indeed bacon cheese fries as they slapped a few crunches of bacon on top of some soggy fries with school lunch cafeteria style cheese that barely melted on my food. I didn’t want a refund I just wanted my milkshake but they instead would rather I have taken to this forum here to share my experience instead of handling it appropriately. My order was $40 in total including delivery and fees and I was given $1 worth of satisfaction and customer service from both way back burger as well...
