I'm so glad we have a place that makes a solid shawarma sandwich and chicken over rice!!! I know my photo sucks but the food was really, really good. I've had the beef shawarma sandwich and it was great. Chicken cutlet sandwich and cheeseburgers are also fantastic. It's kind of hard to tell what they sell from the outside and their menu is a little hard to parse, but everything I've tried so far has been amazing. My favorite so far has definitely been the chicken over rice though. It's better than a lot of the NYC carts, even the famous one near MoMA which is honestly pretty dry. The guys who work here are also super nice with great customer service. I also like that this place is more casual and has pretty long hours. It's good for people who live in the neighborhood. Generally I don't want to have a huge event of a meal, we really needed a casual restaurant like this for when I don't...

Would highly not recommend.

Burger was a very good burger. Burgers come with mayonnaise on them. Extremely strong language barrier (English) where we had to take 15 minutes to order 2 burgers and wings. Fries and wings were frozen and not very good. Was offered Mayo with the wings. We had to ask multiple times for blue cheese. Frozen wings had ranch and blue cheese added on top of the wings (see picture), no dipping sauce.

Price was incorrect and was very difficult to get it corrected. Cook came to assist in gloves and touch the ordering screen and then returned to the grill. Bathroom not clean with broken faucet and lock on door.

I had the pleasure of visiting NY Deli and Grill on a Saturday during lunch time! You could very easily miss it if you don’t know what you’re looking for. The food is worth the price you pay as everything is fresh and made ready to order! While they have a fair amount of American style food you should definitely get their Middle Eastern Specials.

Today I had the crispy chicken sandwich and it was delicious and made sure to fill me up! Very pleased with my experience here and can’t wait come back.
