I've always loved Jim's restaurant and definitely come in for the food! not the snarky mean lady up front. I'm not sure if she's a waitress or hostess, She's very mean and attitude. She would be a good definition of menopausal! which there is nothing wrong with menopausal women when they've hit that point. I promise no offense! I think women are amazing and do the most amazing things all the way to creating life!!! so no offense when I say anything about menopausal women👍 something needs to be done about this lady needs to be brought down off your pedestal and take human conditioning classes! possibly because she does not know how to react to somebody. I stated something that was on her menu! She pretty much called me a liar and said I've been here for 8 years and she said I've never heard of biscuits and gravy with bacon or sausage, she was extremely mean about it. I even asked her why she was being mean and she stated that I'm not mean I'm the nicest one here!!! so please I do love the food and did love the atmosphere till these incidences! I have always loved Jim's since I was a kid this was the last restaurant I went with my grandfather before he passed away it's been hard to even come back 1st time I come back in how many years, it brings back so many good memories. This is what I come into and Jim's restaurant should truly consider the person you have hosting your restaurant. I guarantee you're losing busines with her up there I was seriously considering never coming to this location ever again. One I have come to my whole life with my grandpa. Now my family just because of her, and this is the second time she's reacted this way! the first time was over a gift card that she stated I couldn't use because she couldn't figure out the difference between $10 on the gift card and cash, Because the machine wouldn't do the difference so I was not able to use my $10 gift card and I had to pay out of pocket instead of using my gift card. I was so angry I didn't go in and pick up the food! I had my wife go in to pick it up. She did say she apologized for not knowing the menu and that was it for being rude or mean just plain not human, for the world the way it is right now we need to be a little bit nicer to everyone and more mindful just someone that's not doing anything wrong just ordering some food and get treated like they're a liar or a no good human that...
Read moreOh, the horror! My wife and I embarked on a breakfast adventure, ordering the sunrise with potatoes. Little did we know, those cubed potatoes were like tiny, unyielding boulders on our plates. I tried to engage in a futile act of culinary destruction, attempting to smash them with my spoon, only to discover they were oddly "rawtatoes." It was a mashing mission impossible!
As if the potato ordeal wasn't enough, we ventured into the realm of a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Initially, it promised flavorsome bliss, but as we indulged, a sinister plot unveiled itself. The sandwich, we suspect, was a co-conspirator in a secret grease mission to make us feel like we were auditioning for a role in a fast-food horror movie. Grease-induced queasiness haunted us like foodie ghosts!
But the culinary calamity didn't end there. The pièce de résistance was the receipt debacle. They handed us the wrong receipt, and like trusting souls, we paid for it without inspecting. We attempted to unravel this receipt riddle at the counter, hoping for a lifeline from the staff. Alas, it was like seeking answers from a group of amnesiac clowns who seemed completely oblivious or perhaps, as we feared, just didn't care.
Ah, but our waiter, the lone savior in this foodie fiasco, shone like a beacon of hope in the sea of culinary chaos. We sang praises to this brave soul.
Then came the pièce de résistance of this entire theater of absurdity. My wife, in a quest for answers and justice, made a call to the establishment after our ordeal. She was greeted by none other than the owner himself. Instead of understanding her plight, he wielded insults like a bludgeon, dubbing her a "fool" and seemingly banishing us from ever returning.
It's with an utmost certainty that we proclaim this establishment as the darkest abyss of dining experiences. The owner, a character of unspeakable rudeness and a distinct lack of class, turned this meal into a tragicomedy of epic proportions. Our advice? Stay away, dear culinary adventurers! Seek nourishment elsewhere, for this place is a culinary Bermuda Triangle from which you might...
Read moremy family and I went out for breakfast, when our food arrived to our table my dads plate had eggs covering all his food and the eggs were really runny and basically to me uncooked definitely unappetizing so I asked the server if we could get another plate with the eggs cooked more he said no problem and returned in about ten minutes with another plate but again the eggs were runny, the server even asked if he would eat the eggs my dad told him that they were not any better and he agreed but he decided to at least try to slide the eggs to one side but they were super runny just a mess so I asked if the manager would come over, when she had arrived I explained to her what had happened she began to explain to me that I ordered my eggs wrong, and that I was supposed to order my eggs medium well done. On one end I was irritated because I have never had to order my eggs like that anywhere and the other that she was not concerned that the food was terrible or that my father had not ate, and we had no more time to wait for a third plate to be made so when we paid I asked the cashier if she was going to be willing to not charge us for that plate of food my dad did not eat, she said she would call the manager. when this lady came up she said she would give us a discount for it... I laughed at her because she was clearly ignorant to the fact that the food was not even touched. she was very disrespectful and I would say childish as she tried to follow me into the parking lot to try to argue with me as customers are walking into the building
very bad business skills food was not good even the toast was hard like old bread I have been in the food industry for over 10 years and I have never or would never treat a customer in such a derogatory manner ill never go back there food is way over priced I can eat anywhere and be treated way...
