Zao Asian Cafe — Restaurant in West Jordan

Kids are all home and we are starting our Christmas break. As we were deciding what to have for dinner, we noticed that Zao Asian Cafe just opened up in Jordan Landing. Absolutely love this place because they have one in Murray. So, we all hopped in the car and ventured out to visit this new place.

First off, love the options. There are so many to choose from! We all ended up choosing a bowl, but I got to individualize it according to desires. I ended up getting the right with chicken, curry sauce, and toppings. Absolutely fantastic and so reasonably priced!! The drinks are amazing as well. Of course, they have your standard pound dreams but they also have or different types of juices, including a time mango, a cucumber lime, a strawberry lemon grass, and a passion limeade. Too many good choices of!

Fresh, Flavorful, and Fantastic Service!

Zao Asian Café has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a fresh, high-quality meal! Every dish we ordered tasted incredibly fresh, from the perfectly seasoned proteins to the crisp vegetables and flavorful sauces. You can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients—everything tasted clean, vibrant, and thoughtfully prepared.

On top of the amazing food, the customer service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very quick to get our order ready. Special shoutout to Miguel, who went above and beyond to make our visit great. He was attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find that level of service and genuine care these days, and Miguel absolutely delivered.

We've been going here since they opened, came here tonight newer "manager" the people have definitely cycled out, but there already still a few that have been there a while .... unfortunately tonight we had the issue of meeting the new manager.. 😕 everyone that knows us there knows if we ask for more to just charge us.. not tell us "well that's what it comes with" we have no problem paying extra, as we always do.. this guy refused to put more cucumber 🥒 when we asked for ½ rice ½ cucumber.... when we have no issue paying extra for anything 🙄 he only lost out on money with that ... then had the audacity to say "he knows who we are" we've never seen him a day in our life! Orlando (Frontline face) and Laura the cook are always so kind... we often remind them if this, we are always so happy to see their faces! New manager... rid of him... he had 0 critical...
