My wife and I went to a couples paint night where you each do half of the picture here. The pace for instruction was actually pretty good. Usually it's way to fast for me at paint nights but at this one I almost kept up. Had a fun time. They even stencil in for you part of the picture so you don't have to worry about harder to draw items. If you don't like them drawing an outline of something in for you and feel it hampers your artistic ability then just paint over it. The class we went to would be best for beginners. Not sure what they offer for the more advanced person.

This was a fabulous way for my partner and I to enjoy creating something together that we could later display in our home and remember the good time we had making our joint collaboration. Just like the picture, we have differences but also just like the picture, our differences complement each other. I would highly recommend this activity for couple as well as any anyone who is just willing to put their creativity in 'play-mode'. You don't have to be great at painting, you just have to relax and enjoy the process. This was the first time my partner had tried painting (he was the one who gifted me this activity), and he naturally took to the challenge of just relaxing and not being critical of his abilities. We were searching for an activity for a daughter's surprise 16th birthday party. We considered escape rooms, ax throwing, and go-cart driving. We were inviting a lot of different kids who weren't close friends. In the end we decided to give this a try and loved it! We had about 14 kids. We especially loved that Jamie brought the party to our house. That was so much easier than driving all the kids somewhere. It was the perfect balance of letting the kids chat but them still having something to do. Jamie did a great job of judging how much to instruct and how much to let them do their thing. She brought the whole thing in and set it up herself in our kitchen, and took it away with no mess. I was so impressed with her as a small business owner, too....
