Saw that it was a new place opening. Great! Let’s go try it with my girlfriend.
We went in at 6:17pm and ordered 2 bowls of noodle soup for takeout. Waited for 20 minutes before a server came up to us and said that it’ll be another 20 minutes. Alright, I’m fine with the wait.
At 6:45, we asked them when the food will be ready. They said then and there that one of the noodles were not available and asked us if we wanted to switch to another one. Seriously?! There was no need to wait 40 minutes before telling us that one of the options we ordered was unavailable.
After that we decided to change to another option. Got our food at exactly 7:15 and left the place.
Went home and opened up the noodles. One of the orders were wrong. I can understand the slow service because the restaurant was new, but I cannot accept the fact that after waiting for an hour for TAKEOUT with no line that the order was still wrong.
On another note. The peas they put in the soup has a nice texture. Probably my favorite part of the entire...
Read moreROTTEN food, bad service, and faked reviews. All the side dishes tasted stale, especially the crab meat, lettuce, and spam, which seemed like they’d been sitting out all day. Both my friends and I got FOOD POISONING after eating here. The tomato soup was bland and overly greasy.
Service was just as disappointing. It took 15 minutes for the waiter to even notice me at the front, another 15 minutes to take our order, and another 15 minutes for the rice noodles to finally arrive. The waiter never came by to refill water or check on our food, and they only served TAP WATER.
For a $20+ meal with appetizers, the quality of both the food and service was shocking, I’m perplexed by how they DARE to add a 15% tip automatically. Somehow the old Oishi was bad enough and they decided to rebrand and cram their page with fake 5-star reviews from sus Chinese accounts with apparently staged photos. This is, without a doubt, the worst Chinese...
Read moreThis place has been on my radar for a some time and today I finally got a chance to get it. Tried the Spicy Cucumber Salad and that alone was just so flavorful. The Spicy Garlic Pork hit the table and the flavors kept going. Finally finished with the Bridge Rice Noodle with Spicy Chicken and Pickled Peppers. Took it up to level 4/5 just to try it. It was a great meal served in what I was told was a traditional style.. over all this place was amazing. Reminds me of all the places I see when watching Street Food shows. It's bare bones and all about the food and...
