McDonald's — Restaurant in West Manchester Township

After paying on the mobile app was told it was not paid for. Paid for it with my card at the window, then seen it charged twice. So asked for one receipt to be refunded because I was not paying twice for 2 slushees. Manager or most likely low level supervisor ‘Amber’ told me she needed to see my bank account. After showing her, which was something I should never have to do, she told me she could not see it because she was standing 5 yards away from the window. After the other employees told her to step forward because I’m holding a phone out the window she walked away saying she can’t deal with this. Instead of acting professionally and correcting it, she had another employee walk cash out to me. What if I wanted this refunded on my card? Amber acted the exact opposite of what I would think a manager would act after I just spent money at their business, but I guess Amber doesn’t understand that happy customers return, and without returning customers profits fail, which means no jobs… especially for a...

I love this McDonald's. I haven't had a problem in 3+ years visiting it. I like how well everyone treats their customers, and how precise they are with the orders. Definitely your best bet in West York!

Added to my review: I love how they take into consideration all the countries around the world when decorating (see pictures). My favorite so far has been their Christmas decorations that included information about Christmas in countries around the world, with a little centerpiece in each table with a different country and how they celebrate Christmas. When you walked in, you were greeted by a decoration with stars that had "Merry Christmas" written in a LOT of languages. Also, their Christmas tree with a distinctive item for the Christmas season in each country (sadly, I forgot to take a picture of it). Every decoration so far has been so thoughtful, that when I go to any other McDonald's I feel something is missing. Thank you for making our experience...

Me and my mother went through the drive through. We ordered a couple milkshakes and asked for a small cup filled with whipped cream. McDonald's doesn't have pup cups, but we have gotten them before at the same location with no issues. When we asked for this, we got "we dont do that" as a response. My mother was confused and asked again. Same exact response. When she tried to explain that we had gotten them before, the woman repeated the same phrase. "We dont do that." Me and my mother looked at each other and debated going somewhere else. In the 15 seconds that we were silent, the woman said "if that's it, your total is-" we cut her off to cancel the order. It has nothing to do with the fact that we couldn't get a pup cup. It was the rudeness of the employee that prompted this review.
