Where do I begin? What started out to be a nightmare trip to Sam's, ended with the best customer service I've received in a long time. Last week my wife and I went to sams for only 1 thing. Of course, we could not find that 1 item we were looking for and seemed as if there was no one around to ask about the product in question. As we grabbed a few items that caught our eye and headed to the VERY busy checkout we were approached by an employee. Kelly greeted us and asked if we had our membership handy that she would scan our things while we wait in line. She then asked if we had found everything we needed. Ironically we did not! My wife told her the product we couldn't find and Kelly immediately searched for a skew online to trace the product. Unfortunately, the product is online only now but Kelly gave us 2 other alternatives. Her friendliness and willing to help made the long lines much easier to deal with. This young lady was being pulled in every direction and was being called by name from other employees throughout the store, including the radio they wear. (Thats why I remember her name) and she still remained so pleasant and helpful to everyone she tended to. From the customer service desk down to the men in tires and batteries. She was running her rear off, with a smile. I don't know if this young lady is a boss/managment but like I told my wife, she was running the checkouts like one. Attentive and professional. Josh was our checkout guy and he was just as pleasant. As we were leaving both Josh and Kelly thanked us for our patience and wished us a good weekend. I usually won't write a lengthy review like this but my wife has called and asked to speak with the general manager and both times they said his name is Jared and he's gone for the rest of the week. I had to recongize these 2 young employees one way or another. We walked out of there happy as if we had got the product we were sent out for. A couple smiles and a little friendliness goes a long way. Sam's club should be proud to have these...
Read moreThe bakery is terrible, I will never order a cake from them again. I don't even know where to start. I called a month in advanced because my son is highly allergic to strawberries, goes into anefalactic shock. Now I know this allergy is very hard to combat, so I called a month in advance, like I said early and spoke to the bakery manager about the allergy and them taking on the cake. I was assured that they cake would be done first thing in the morning before strawberries were ever touched. So I placed my order. Told them. I'd be there between 3 and 5pm to pick it up. I arrived at sams club and there my cake sat opened on the table besides fresh strawberries that were being cut! With the sign on it that said do not put near strawberries. The baker asked my name and I said Weber, and told her that my cake needed to be remade. She then proceeded to argue with me about remaking it until I asked her if she knew how to read because that cake seriously was labeled not to be near strawberries. To make it worse they misspelled my sons name on the cake that was next to strawberries. Then tried to tell me it would take her 2 hours to complete and to come back tomorrow. Needless to say they had it done it 20 minutes after arguing with me and me threatening to contact the head of the store. Needless to say we will never order a cake from...
Read moreI really like this place. The workers are very kind and always smiling. We stop here at least one or two times per month to pick up supplies for work and things for home. I really like the seasonal items from the clothes to the supplies. There is always a lot of items there to pick from. Cannot remember the last time we went to get something and there was nothing in stock. If you are a regular shopper here I would definitely recommend getting the scan and go app. I wish all stores had this option setup so that all you had to do was scan items in your cart and pay though an app then just walk out of the store. I'm guessing the only reason why stores don't all allow this is due to theft issues. Sams always has door people and people to greet you so they can keep an eye on items getting out of the store. Another thing we like about our location is that they will periodically do cookout days especially on the weekends when the weather is nice. They will setup a tent outside and grill food like hamburgers, hotdogs and sandwiches with pop. It's a great snack or light meal either before or after a shopping session. So if your looking for a membership club this is the place to join. Btw... take a look at this chocolate cake. Their bakers and deli area is great too and there's always something for a quick party or...
