I set up an account & ordered online. I received a message that my order would be ready in 9-13 minutes and they did not disappoint. I was 0.4 miles from the location where I picked up my order. After placing my order I went in to the grocery store to pick up a bottle of ketchup because it was indicated that Freddy's was out of 'to go' ketchup when I placed my order. I then proceeded to Freddy's and my order was ready when I went inside to pick it up. There is a 'walk in pick up' area at the end of the counter near the fountain soda machine and my order was waiting there. They handed me the empty glasses, we made our drinks, grabbed extras like straws, napkins, salt, etc. & back out to our vehicle. Unfortunately I forgot to photograph the food I ordered prior to eating it but, this is one fast food establishment whose food pictures are actually representative of the food you receive. I had a single cheeseburger which came with mustard, pickle, & onion(I had them hold that) to which I added lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and mayo none of which I was charged extra for; you pay extra for things like chili, cheese, bacon, grilled onions, & sauerkraut. All toppings are generous. It was great but, since the meat patties are on the thin side, too many extras tend to cover the flavor of the meat. I think it would have tasted better with fewer add-ons or if I'd gotten a double so that the flavor of the meat would have been more prevalent. The other person in my party ordered the patty melt. It was a grilled sandwich made on rye bread, with Swiss cheese & grilled onions which looked more like caramelized and she said it tasted great and that she would definitely order it again with the addition of Thousand Island dressing & sauerkraut for a Reuben type sandwich. I also had a regular size French fry which is actually about the size of a large order elsewhere. The fries are shoestring type and are seasoned with steak burger & fry seasoning(which was also on the burger patties) and you can have them hold that if you like. A regular size order of onion rings was had with the patty melt. Again, the order of rings was more the size of a large elsewhere. The onion rings were battered, not breaded. They were crisp fried to tender perfection and tasted wonderful. In addition, I also had a 22oz.(I think🤔) drink. I had a 1/2 &1/2 sweet/unsweetened iced tea. If you like really sweet tea then get yours the way it's served, otherwise I recommend you get it 1/2 & 1/2 like I did. The other drink in our order was sweet tea. Freddy's also serves Pepsi Co. products & DrPepper. You make your own drinks if you dine-in or order ahead to pick up inside. There is ample parking with handicapped parking as well as handicapped access to the door and the tables inside. There is a vegetarian...
Read moreI don’t rarely give reviews for eating places but here’s my Freddys Review:
Freddy's stands out as a culinary gem, especially for those with a penchant for classic American fare. Their Frozen Custards and Steakburgers are not just meals but an experience, delighting the taste buds with every bite. The star of the show, however, are the cheese curds. Describing them as 'the best I have ever eaten' doesn't do justice to their perfect blend of gooey, cheesy goodness and crispy exterior. Each visit to Freddy's has been marked by an encounter with their staff, who are invariably polite and generous, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. Efficiency is another hallmark of Freddy's service; the wait times are always reasonable, ensuring that your cravings are satisfied promptly. The cherry on top is the restaurant's location - it's amazingly convenient, being located on Cypress Street near the Thomas Road/Cypress Street intersection in West Monroe. The restaurants location is premium, making it a go-to spot for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner. Freddy's truly sets a high standard for fast-casual dining, and it's a place I find myself returning to...
Read moreMy wife and I recently visited Freddy's, and it was an absolute delight! The burgers were different then what you would normally find anywhere else. My wife couldn't stop raving about their chicken sandwich either, which she absolutely loved.
Now, let's talk about the fries – unique, crispy, and downright addictive! They were unlike any fries we've had before, and we couldn't get enough of them. Paired with their burgers and sandwiches, it was a match made in heaven.
What impressed us the most, besides the mouthwatering food, was the friendly service and inviting atmosphere. It's clear that the staff at Freddy's takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every aspect of our dining experience.
Overall, Freddy's is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious steakburgers and crispy fries. Whether you're a burger enthusiast like me or prefer something different like my wife's chicken sandwich, you won't be disappointed. We'll definitely be back for more!
By the way, you have to try the salted caramel sundae...
