The one I've been to several times in New Orleans is always great. I'm hopeful this one will get there, but so far, notsomuch. I gave them three tries and was disappointed all three times. The store is nice, but the staff needs a lot of training. They don't know what they're doing. The first two times, they had to ask how to make my simple drink because I requested oat milk (first time, the girl went to request permission and ask how, second time, the lady didn't know if they carried oat milk). The third time - and last time - they didn't question me, but my cold brew with sugar-free chocolate and almond milk somehow went from $3.75 to $6.30. How? Do they charge extra for the flavoring and milk? Why? Nobody else charges that much, and at least two places I know in town (1 chain, 1 local) include it. I received a receipt on a clipboard with a pen. There was nowhere to sign, so I asked if I got the wrong one. The young lady said it was just so I could put my tip down. I gladly and generously tip, but do not force it. It should never be a forced expectation of your guests that you shove in their face. How. Very. Rude. To top it off, it was the worst coffee drink I've ever had and tasted sour. I was all the way to the office before I realized, so I couldn't address it with them unfortunately. There are several other coffee options in the area, and I'd much prefer them, sadly. I was looking so forward to PJs coming to town after my NOLA experiences, but this has not lived up to...
Read moreIf you value your time and money DO NOT waste it here. Me and my husband moved here from New Orleans not long ago and we LOVED the Pj’s there. Thought this would feel like home but Here we wait OVER an hour for our things when they were right in front of us the entire time. One of the girls working came over to see and saw we’d been there and drinks were melted made them over and apologized while the others just sat around with their hands in their pockets and kept leaving. A couple of days ago my husband had to wait over 20 minutes for a small coffee, sandwich and a croissant because they were trying to get everything out with little too no help. I asked for a manager and was told They were not there and sent me over a teenager to talk to. The managers are horrible! One comes out screaming and fussing at the workers while the guy helped them with nothing. They all seem very young, managers included. ill mannered managers and untrained workers. Just the other day there was hair in my food and he didn’t seem to care at all. Worst experience ever and done wasting our money here. This place definitely won’t be in...
Read moreAfter a long day I was looking forward to a nice cup of my favorite drink from PJs. I go through the drive through around 5:45pm(regular business hours) and I notice the menu screen is black and there is no sign indicating any issues, so I drive around to the window, sat there, no one came but I can see people on the inside sitting down…slightly frustrated that no one came to the window I just decided to go in. I walk inside, the workers looked me as they worked but no one greeted me, I proceeded to the counter to place my order still no one greeted me. Finally a girl comes out the back sees me, looks at her coworkers confused and then back at me and tells me that they’re closed for a meeting and she didn’t know the door was still unlocked…….. I know my face read “are you serious?!” As I threw my hands up. Having a meeting during regular business hours is one thing but at least have signs up so customers can know! I hate to leave a bad review because I love PJ’s coffee but this was an unprofessional experience that was very much avoidable and could’ve been...
