Ginger Grill — Restaurant in West New York

This use to be an amazing restaurant when I moved here two years ago.. I ordered from this place very often.. so much so that when friends came over.. they always wanted to order from here. Never again!!! The past few times I ordered they forgot things.. okay that happens. But it’s unfair for you to charge people.. let’s make a point for it to not happen again.. not for it to become a habit. Ordered here Friday night and everything taste old. The sushi roll looked reheated.. I mean you can tell when avocado has been cooked.. the chicken taste bad immediately upon chewing .. so was the shrimp tempura. What was consumed made me, my husband and two guests very ill. Between the diarrhea and vomiting. I don’t know which one was worse.. and to spend $50+ on bad food is just terrible. I had ordered a spider rolll, shrimp bento, vegetable dumplings with two bubble teas. I got a taro and a green tea bubble tea and for me, it was too watery. I called the restaurant to see if I can get a discount or at least a refund on my two orders for the drinks and owner was really rude. I tried to explain to him that the drinks were too watery and they didn’t not taste like the flavor I had ordered and he said, “can I talk to you later, I’m really busy.” And after he said, if you can come to the restaurant and bring the tea, I can give you a discount.” Customer satisfaction needs to be fixed in this restaurant. I ordered a soup and some rolls here because I was really craving it and it was the only thing nearby that offered it.

When I called to place my order, the customer service was very cold and they hung up the phone on me after I asked a question. Though this was so rude, I kept the order anyways because I was hungry. When I went to pick up the food, the prices were different then what’s on the online menu and the customer service was very cold and dry.
