La Tinajita Pizzeria Cubana — Restaurant in West New York

I wish my opinion was different. As a cuban, eating pizza and pasta the cuban style is enjoyable,when it is good. I ordered a jam pizza and espaggetti with an aurora cheese cream for delivery 1.5 miles away because im a truck driver. Gave the driver 25 dollars for an 18 dollar check and when i opened the food it was horrible. It was not cheese cream it was a cheese milkshake with out the cheese. Just the color. The pasta was not even mixed. The jam,souce and cheese in cups. Like thats going to melt and mix nicely after 40 mins driving around in the delivery car. The pizza. My god. You can fit the personal pizza in the aluminum plate twice. Hard. Dry and cold. Im sorry but never again. The only good thing was the cold koka kola can. Terrible service. The staff are rude. They fail to acknowledge and greet the customer. It seems to be if you are not Cuban they are prejudice against you. Staff just stands around gossiping instead of acknowledging the customer once you walk in. I had to greet the staff after staring at the staff without me being greeted. It is not the first time this happened and that is the result of my review. Another customer asked for a manager as I stood there waiting to be greeted and one of the staff members replied they do not have a manager and continued her conversation with the other staff member while playing...

I tried this style of pizza about 18 years ago in Florida. A friend of mine introduced me to it, I felt like challenging the establishment and ordered a shrimp pizza. My friend ordered a Hawaiin, they were both delicious and I never forgot. The “Mixta Pie” I ordered here was super delicious and will almost always get this when I eat here.
