I'm from Los Angeles, and I miss Mexican food a lot. The only decent Mexican food I've had in the New Jersey/NY area was in Sunset Park Brooklyn. Until now. At Xochitl Tortilleria I had a pork torta that was yummy. My wife liked her bisteca taco (she also likes the carne asada tacos at Los Tacos No. 1 in NY). We agreed that both the refritos and the rice were excellent (the refritos were very smooth but tasted just right). The tortillas are very good (that's how I found this place--a Mexican neighbor recommended the tortillas). They also have chips/dorados/ tostaditos. Overall, this location is alright, the food is not bad but also not the best. The price is more on the high side and the...
