My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Peruvian restaurant lima 51. It was truly one of the most memorable meals we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming — just like the beautiful culture of Peru itself.
The staff was attentive and genuinely kind, happy to explain the dishes and offer recommendations. You can tell they care deeply about sharing their culture and cuisine. The best part about this place is that is a family owned business which adds to the experience.

The Lomo Saltado was cozy for a cold rainy day, and the Ceviche was my colleague's favourite dish as it reminded of his childhood in Peru in the 80's. The pastry is fresh and flaky, the beef filling is tender, juicy and surprisingly flavorful.
Some restaurants confuse "spicy" with "flavorful" but this was truly flavorful - a mix of sweet, spicy and savory flavors, just juicy enough to melt in your mouth without soaking through the pastry shell.
I will definitely be back for more empanadas and to try some...
