PrimoHoagies — Restaurant in West Norriton Township

I always go to this Primos on Egypt Road. it usually makes a great hoagie. My husband and I went on Sunday 01/14/24. what a disappointment. The take out hoagies weren’t prepared as asked , items missing from our orders of a small hoagie and a schwartz primos, and two VERY BAD RICE PUDDINGS, we paid 35.00 plus a five dollars in the tip jar. there was so much cinnomin on top of what very little rice pudding that was in the containers that when we stirred it up it all turned brown from so much cinnamon!!! I also paid extra for hot capacola on my turkey hoagie and was given a piece the size of a half dollar! That hoagie was to have heave mayo oil and onions ( the total forgot the mayo and oil or it was so light i couldn’t see it or taste it). The onions were very sparse, NOT EXTRA AND HEAVY ON THE ONIONS! I also asked for two containers of hot peppers on the side and was giving two sweet peppers in containers. I don’t know what happened to the spring and summer crew of 2023, but they made the best Primos Hoagies ever!!! You need to get them in th train the new crew. Primo as a chain is known for good, simple, high quality food. This location is no different. And while the staff is very friendly, I have now had at least three separate experiences where the orders were incorrect. These are egregious things like putting on a huge pile of onion to a sandwich that was ordered with no onion. It is not simply a matter of taking it off either, because onion is an extremely strong odor and flavor that permeates everything it touches.

In addition, they tend to forget a lot of things like putting chips in the bag, drinks, or including things like pickles etc. I usually order from here when I go to my parents house as they live nearby, and the order is usually for four or five people. Unfortunately this Primos consistently under-delivers. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY other sandwich shop. I've bought several sandwiches and primo trays from here, never again. Most of the time the order is wrong or they are out of a major ingredient and don't tell you ahead of paying. This sandwich shop has been like this for over a year, it's more than "training." This store needs a complete franchise overhaul if it wants to stay in business. Oh, and if you are reading this Primos, don't reply with "please fill out our online form." No one is doing that, the Google reviews are here, if you really need it in your external system then just copy them over, that's not how customer feedback should be.
