This morning I arrived at this Dunkin Location around 7:45 am. I asked for two bagels toasted with cream cheese. A strawberry donut, an apple crumb donut, a large French vanilla coffee light and sweet, and a small hot chocolate. My total was $13.41. The young lady at the register was kind and went to ask the person making the bagels if they could toast my bagel with butter so that the bagel would not be burnt. I did ask for my receipt but the cashier had thrown it away. I purposely bypassed the Dunkin’ Donuts on the corner of my street at 529 Main Street to come to this one at 382 main st because the other one consistently messes up my order. When I got to the car my bagel was perfect and my coffee and hot chocolate were also perfect. Then I realized I left without my donuts. No worries, I go back inside to get my donuts. When I get inside the store is now crowded. There’s one person in line in front of me, who is indecisive. I asked her can I just tell the cashier what I need I already ordered and paid. The cashier was now a man who was very rude and disrespectful. He continued to argue with me for minutes and didn’t know what to do when I told him the previous cashier threw away my receipt. I told him I didn’t have a lot of time just ask her i already paid repeated my entire order showed the credit card I paid with and told him my total. Once the young lady confirmed he continued to stare at me and not pass me the donuts that I asked for. Instead he waited until the young lady who was making several coffees for several people was done filling beverages for the morning rush to pass me my donuts. This man purposely made me wait longer because he didn’t like the fact that the lady in front me said I could go in front of her. All he had to do was pass me my donuts instead of arguing with a customer. This was the absolute worse experience I have ever had at any establishment and will never go back to this...
Read moreAwful food and coffee with even worse service. The staff here is consistently rude, with our most recent visit being a distinct low point. After walking in the door with my 5 year old daughter, the person behind the counter yelled “we have no more ice cream!” without any sort of greeting or even asking what we were there for. I wasn’t sure I heard correctly, since the ice cream freezers were visibly well stocked, and the employee said, without looking at us or offering any sort of explanation “we have no more ice cream. We aren’t selling any ice cream.” There was nobody else in the store, so it wasn’t even as if she was slammed on the Dunkin side and couldn’t walk the 5 steps to the Baskin Robins side. I responded that there appeared to be plenty of ice cream and the case, to which she replied again “we have no ice cream.” She then turned her back to us. I only ever visit this location for the Baskin Robins since it is within walking distance of my house. From now on I will be taking the drive to the other side of town for Guerreiro, where we at least get a “hello” when we walk...
Read more1/5 Stars - Beware of Overcharging and Poor Customer Service
I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Dunkin' Donuts. Not only was I overcharged for a small hot chocolate ($18.81!), but the staff also denied taking my order when I confronted them about the mistake.
To make matters worse, I was given the wrong receipt initially, and it wasn't until I checked my credit card notification that I discovered the error.
The lack of accountability and poor customer service I experienced is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to receive accurate orders, fair pricing, and respectful service.
Unless you enjoy being overcharged and disrespected, I'd advise you to steer clear of this Dunkin' Donuts location. Always ask for a receipt and double-check your order before leaving the store.
UPDATE: I hope Dunkin' Donuts takes steps to address these issues and provide better training to their staff. Until then, I'll be taking my...
