This is my second time ordering dinner from this location. The first time I ordered pick up. The food took extremely long but it was worth it because the quality was fantastic. I ordered again tonight but this time delivery and I could not have been more disappointed. Firstly, the food was suppose to take 45 minutes, & it took well over an hour (I was annoyed but I understand, it’s a Saturday & busy). What upset me was when I called, they said the oil was old & it was taking longer cause they had to cook it again, but then the guy said oh no it looks like they sent it out it should be there soon. When I received my food the jalea was BURNT. The seafood tasted old. I ordered lomo as well & it was spilling in the bag. I paid $50 for a meal I didn’t enjoy & couldn’t eat. The service was very disappointing. The girl at the desk had an attitude. Overall not happy & will probably never order again. Very...
Read moreAs part of the Peruvian diaspora I always try to find not only Peruvian restaurants but restaurants that truly capture the essence of Peruvian food. I feel that this is one such place. The whole place works in Spanish as to be expected, which I have heard as a negative from some, but it is just because it caters to the Hispanic diaspora. Suggestions to those who do not speak Spanish but do want to get a good authentic experience, go with a friend that does speak Spanish. Even better go with a Peruvian. If this is not possible, just study the cuisine beforehand. This place serves all the classics. If all of the above bothers you, there are Peruvian places for non Peruvians, just know you’ll be...
Read moreThis place burned down a few years back. We use to order food for large gatherings, especially Jalea. So we near here and decided to check back in and see how the food tasted now. Most of the a la carte food was lacking Flavor. The jalea seemed just fried with no flavoring. My daughter had the green spaghetti. We left the entire plate. Even my mom said it was not good. The price for the specials of the day seem to be what attract their regular customers. The service ladies were very attentive but the food was not good. One other note, they have a full bar but did not have Pisco Sour. A Peruvian place - that does not offer the country’s...
