Service was a tad slow, and we ordered using the Sonic App. It was shortly after 4:30PM and they were, I would say, only slightly busy. (6 vehicles were parked when we got there, and I only noticed the carhop serve 1 vehicle, shortly after we arrived.) The delay was waiting a good 7-8 minutes after activating the Red Button, BUT THAT IS FORGIVEN. *I've worked in fast food, a few times, as a cook. So I completely understand that "looks" on the outside does not necessarily reflect what's happening in the kitchen with orders they may be working on. We ordered 1 Rt44 Coke and 1 Rt44 Ocean Water. When the carhop arrived, the order was correct, and she was very sweet and friendly, with a SINCERE smile! It was EXTREMELY REFRESHING to see her smile and you could actually FEEL the POSITIVE ENERGY that she had, like a warm fire on a cold dreary day! After the day my friend and I had, WE BOTH NEEDED THAT, MORE THAN I CAN EVER POSSIBLY EXPRESS. We informed her that we had activated the Red Button, shortly after arriving, because we wanted to order 2 additional Rt44 waters and 2 cups of ice. She was quick to inform us that she could take our order herself, right there! After placing our order for the waters, our order was out QUICKLY! THANK YOU FOR POSITIVELY CHANGING OUR MOODS AND FOR HAVING THAT GENUINE SMILE. SHE, LITERALLY MADE A VERY, VERY LONG, HOT, BAD, ALMOST UNBEARABLE DAY, THAT WE BOTH HAD ENDURED, BETTER, IN MY HUMBLE AND APPRECIATIVE OPINION, BECAUSE OF HER, SIMPLY, BEING HERSELF!!! BECAUSE A SINGLE, SOLITARY, MOMENT IN A DAY CAN COMPLETELY AND POSITIVELY CHANGE AND HELP SOMEONE, WITHOUT YOU EVER KNOWING. *I gave only 4 Stars because they were out of the Powerade slushes, that my friend REALLY had his heart set on getting one!
