5/21/20: As of this evening the American Flag at the location named below has been flying "war torn and tattered" for 7 weeks. Despite the message posted below. Please respond to this post, encouraging McDonalds to stand behind it's word of "utmost respect for the American Flag".

Hello Carl:
Thank you for taking the time to contact McDonald's regarding the American flag.
McDonald's has the utmost respect for the American flag and those people who serve and have served our country in the Armed Forces. We absolutely agree with you- our flag should be respected and handled properly at all times in all of our restaurants. In fact, our U.S. restaurants have strict operational procedures for the handling and displaying of the American flag.
We take your comments very seriously and have immediately forwarded them to the appropriate person at the restaurant you visited.
Again, thank you for contacting McDonald's. We look forward to serving you again soon under the Golden Arches.

It's been over a month since I noticed the end of it was showing signs of wind wear. Today it's shredded and looking very war torn. I stopped by a week ago, talked to a manager, showed him a photo of the torn flag and asked if he would talk to an administrator about taking it down. As of a few minutes ago it's still blowing in the wind with an aire of disrespect. Can someone in your office run this up the flag pole...
Read moreService is prolonged after midnight. Don't bother using lane two at the drive-through either, as they routinely skip cars in lane 2 when there are cars in lane 1, no matter how long you wait.
Another example of how poorly managed this location occurred on April 25th, 2021. After 22 minutes of waiting inside for my food, I asked for a refund. I placed my order in lane 1 for the drive-through, and that part went fine. The woman at the window said to proceed to mobile order lane 1, at the East side of the building. I drive around, only to find a Smart Car parked in Lane 1, the driver nowhere to be found. I waited for 12 minutes, and a guy exiting the store said to go inside because they "are messing up all the orders."
I went inside and watched as the employees behind the counter appeared to have no idea how to rectify their situation. I saw no leadership or direction, just one woman after another yelling information about pending orders back and forth. About six people were working back there, but only two were working as a team. The rest were standing around, not offering to help, and certainly not interested in talking to and helping customers.
I could not help but notice the sign at the drive-through, which says something like "proudly owned and operated by " B"eing the Best from Kendal, Florida." I complained about similar issues with the location on Blue Heron just West of I-95, and now I think it seems the managers at "Being The Best" are the problem.
I will be writing a letter to the CEO of McDonald's and the VP of Francis Operations to inform them of the damage these locations bring to the brand because if I don't do...
Read moreI NEVER review fast food restaurants but this will be my only exception.
This is the first McDonald's that I've ever been to in my 30 years of being on this Earth that (surprisingly) had employees that ACTUALLY value SERVICE and customer satisfaction. My hats off to the manager that runs this location because you've done a great job.
Upon entering I noticed everything was super clean, and was greeted at the door, I was directed to an expedited self service station to order my food by a friendly employee that walked me through the ordering process on the computer and then took me to the counter to process payment, and modified my order last minute without being annoyed lol. I sat down and took a number, and they BROUGHT me my food, the kind of service you'd expect at a sit down restaurant, my server was friendly, I got up to go to the counter to get extra sauce and she stopped me and offered to get them for me. Awesome.
After I started eating and employee made her rounds to all tables to make sure everyone was satisfied.
It might sound weird as hell but I've never been pleased with service at a McDonald's before in my life. This one definitely caught me off guard in an exceptional way. I'm used to stoic service and employees that visibly don't care at most McDonald's.
The employee Anne was fantastic, great smile and attitude.
McDonald's needs to use this location as a standard to make all locations like...
