I went to Hideout after sitting at the bar waiting for a little over 5 minutes the rude "bartender" looked over at us and shouted that "We can wait" and proceeded to finish her conversation with her big 4 headed friend. She finally gets to us and makes us walk around the bar to order. We finally get our drinks and walk over and play pool. After drinking our drinks and playing pool we walk over to the bar to order some more and also get some water the water we received was warm so we asked if we could have a little bit of Ice she said no and then we asked again and she finally brings it over throwing the cup on the counter splashing and spilling the water everywhere got it while she Brought that over her stick figure of a friend barked at us saying they have the right to refuse service when all we wanted was some water. We enjoyed the rest of our night playing pool, foosball and jenga. When it came time to check out a guy came up to me asking if he could speak with me outside, I said yes and went outside he proceeded to tell me that I could not bring certain friends here because somebody inside was butt hurt from a night before. I brushed that off and walked inside to pay when I see the total it says $39.00 for 2 drinks so I asked the rude, disrespectful, "bartender" I guess you can call her why it was so expensive for 2 drinks and she rambled on about how I bought multiples things I quickly shut her down and told her that I bought 2 things and according to the prices on the menu it should be $16.00. She tried to disagree but I had proof and witnesses. Id honestly give this place 0 stars if I could because of how unprofessional and disrespectful everyone that works there is. Only good thing about that place is the...
Read moreI came in to spend time with my friends and I received horrible unprofessional service. I asked the bartender for a cup of water along with my friend and she gave my friend a full cup of water with ice and she gave me half a cup of warm water. I kindly asked if she could put some ice In my water and she refused and told me no. In shock I was confused and had looked over to see the bartender giving another customer a water with Ice and I proceeded to ask her again in which she declined. In my moment of unfair treatment I had asked her why she was being disrespectful and another worker said they had the right to refuse service to anyone. Of course I was confused as to why these two ladies whom I have no connection to disrespected me but I continued to stay civilized and ask again. She finally agrees with an enormous amount of attitude and slams the water on the bar making it spill onto me. I grabbed the water and walked away and thanked her even though she was extremely rude. Time passed by and me and my friend go to check out and we were approached by a man who seemed to work there and asked my friend to talk. He walked away with this man just to find out that he was told it’s disrespectful for us to be there because the bartender is infatuated with my friend. I have never seen a place so unprofessional in my life there are times in which you can act out but not at work. Dani was the name the bartender went by and I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to come here unless they want to be treated rudely and get water thrown at them. The only plus side to this location is the pool tables other than that the service was horrible and extremely unprofessional I’ve never been more...
Read moreGreat place with a chill atmosphere. Great for people who want a quiet, laid back atmosphere to relax at after work. High quality Kava and kratom that give you a nice feeling and don't give you stomach problems after several shells, or cups of kratom, like the stuff you buy online.
From what I've seen during the off-season, it's not a social scene where you can meet lots of interesting people and everyone is talking and having cool conversations about everything from eating organic to quantum mechanics to entrepreneurship. So not really a place for extroverts like Te Mana was or the Kava bars in NYC are. Well. At least during the off-season.
I've never been here during the on-season. It prob has a completely different vibe when the area is packed. Will revise after visiting during...
