My husband and I often visit this place for breakfast. Is pleasant, the food is good and the price is fair. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience last Sunday 05/29/16. We got a table, order our food. I have to say I always come with my baby or my other children and they well behave. Except this Sunday my baby was feeling a bit upset, so we weren't having a good time trying to calm him down to start with. There was no napkins, nor silverware on the table. Jacky the server never came so I had to get up with my kid and went to ask for some napkins. Meanwhile my husband was still waiting on his silverware. Jacky never came so he got up and went to ask the other servers at the kitchen for some. next thing we know Jacky comes to the table all upset asking in a rude way What seems to be the problem? When my husband explained, there is no problem I just asked you for some things and you never brought them. She started arguing with my husband instead of apologizing and seemed insulted that my husband had gone up to the other servers to get help. She was very rude, nasty and made us feel discriminated. She even said in a very bad tone of voice and attitude "and make sure you keep your son quiet!" I don't mind anyone saying please keep your child quiet but not in the way this lady said it. She was rude and seemed bother by my baby crying. I was so upset. We could not believe what this lady had just said. Not even the people around us were complaining. And like I said we been here before and never have had this type of service. My husband got up and went to ask for the manager, which by the way they said it was only the chef and he was too busy to come. We waited for the owner who was suppose to show up any minute and never did. After the argument with the server Jacky, no one came to continue serving our table. We had to ask the Spanish guys who were picking up the tables for help. I am a very calm and patient lady but this type of service was the worst ever and I feel it needs to be told. I really hope your restaurant made something about it. I use to recommend this place to a lot of friends and family but now I am just very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family was so excited to eat here with such great reviews and so close to our Airbnb, until.....our elderly redish shoulder length hair server approached us with discontent and continued with her brash rudeness. She never walked up to the table, so strange, I had to look over my family to make eye contact to pave my order. When she approached the table she would yell, rudely, excuse me to set anything down. This lady needs to retire or learn to like her job or people in general. I told my family to just smile and be extra nice to her, hopefully this will help change her day. It didn't, we came back the next day and she was worse, if you can believe that! We ate breakfast both days in a sticky booth with the benches ripped so bad you're sitting on a foot long crack feeling the springs. The carpet is so nasty and dirty it makes the entire restaurant smell bad. The art on the walls was nice to look at however everything else was so difficult to handle we couldn't get out of there soon enough. It was incredible to watch all the servers happily greet their regulars and then treat us like trash, disappointing at best. Food was barely acceptable but cheap, had to ask for a coffee refill both days. Flies everywhere and too hot for dinning in. We regretted going there and should have expected the same the second day but again it was close and convenient. NEVER AGAIN! Our second day we had a different server, Tuesday, who greets us all kindly so we were excited but that was all she could give apparently, rudeness the rest of the time. The owners need to teach their employees that serving is a customer service job and a little kindness goes a long way. We did nothing to deserve to be treated this way!! It was an awful two day...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is very inconsistent with their hours. It says that they are open until 2 on Sundays, but when I just went there at 1:53 I was told they were already closed. I just don't understand, why post operating hours if you don't in fact stay operating during those hours. What bothered me most was there was a decent amount of people still sitting and food was still being prepared for other guests, so it shouldn't have been too hard to make a quick to go order, its not like they needed to refire up the grill or anything. I can understand the staff wanting to get home but at least wait until the posted operating hours of 2 to shut things down. I guess they felt they made enough money already that day. I hope they keep that up because I don't think I will be back and I was what you would probably call a "regular" but I don't like being treated as though I'm a nuisance because I am trying to patronize a business that I had up until now supported wholeheartedly. If you want to close earlier then change the hours to when you want to close, don't just decide on a whim that oh today we want to get home earlier so we're just gonna shut down before posted hours. I wish it worked that way where I worked, but sadly my boss cares about being...
