My newfound favorite spot. I live in south Sac and we were looking for a place to Kareoke. Searched Kareoke and bar and CHEERS BAR popped up. Greatest thing to happen lol when we first came here we were immediately welcomed. It was a little busy but we fit right in. When my hubby and his best friend n his wife want to double date, we r there! Bartenders are nice! Patrons are amazing! Especially the regulars! There's a juke box, a dollar can get you between 1-2 songs (songs vary between 1/2 credits, each dollar is 2 credits). Drinks are super reasonable, not overpriced like they would be downtown, there's a pool table (1$ a game I believe), shuffleboard and TVs all around. Tables to stand and sit at, snacks for purchase and on some nights there's kareoke! This is a mellow, super chill hole in the wall bar, so IF YOU LIKE DRAMA DO NOT COME HERE..OR IF YOU CANT HANDLE UR LIQUOR PROLLY DONT COME HERE EITHER lol CHILL HAPPY FRIENDLY PEOPLE ONLY haha idk why I'm saying...anyway...at the moment they don't sell cigarettes so if ur running low better get some at a gas station nearby lol Denny's is around the corner for a late night chow n the location is right off the freeway. They close at 2, last call is between 1:20-140 ish, sometimes later/earlier just depends. Closes right at 2 and your drink better be done by the time 1:59 comes around bc they get collected. Lol my hubby is tryna become a bouncer lol bc he loves it there so much. Haha!! But we aren't there often, I wish we lived...

Very friendly people behind the bar and regulars who come and go. Pool table, darts, and TouchTunes music. I was in town on business and looking for a simple bar with plenty of TVs for watching sports. I'm glad I stopped. Had good conversation about the local area, got tips for good food, and drank beer at a reasonable price. Happy hour ends at 7. I was drinking a pint of local amber micro-brew at $4.00 so it was reasonable.

The local area is a mix of poor and middle class. Very interesting mix, I could tell this area has undergone recent changes for the better but there are still homeless on a lot of corners. It didn't reflect inside the bar. The people who came into the bar were working class, good people.

I felt welcomed and will make this my go to place for a cold beer, sports on TV and good conversation when I'm in the area...

Came here a couple months ago and was double charged for our bill. We ran a tab & left our card on file as is customary. We did mention we were paying cash & bar lady assured us the card wouldn’t be ran. By the end of the night we paid cash and later found out the card was run & bartender took our cash payment as TIP. When we came back the bar lady was no help & refused to give us a managers number to clear the situation. When I left an initial google review, the owner was quick to respond however the situation has still not been rectified months later after several attempts on my end.
