I recently discovered a culinary gem in West Sacramento - Shah's Halal Food. This Mediterranean eatery, owned by the same brilliant mind behind popular food trucks in Davis, has now expanded its reach, and I couldn't be happier. From the moment I walked through their doors, I experienced exceptional service and a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Kaseem, the manager at Shah's Halal Food, deserves special praise for his outstanding management skills. His attention to detail and dedication to providing a top-notch dining experience shine through in every aspect of the restaurant.

Let's talk about the food—the falafel wrap stole my heart. The falafels themselves were a treat—crispy on the outside, yet perfectly moist and flavorful on the inside. The Pita bread was incredibly soft and fresh, elevating the entire experience. What impressed me the most was the generous serving of boiled chickpeas and black beans, giving the wrap a hearty boost of natural protein. It's exactly what I look for in a fulfilling meal.

The fresh vegetables in the falafel wrap added a delightful crunch and vibrant colors to the dish. But what took it to a whole new level was the combination of their green and red sauces. The green sauce, bursting with flavor, became an instant favorite of mine. It enhanced the taste of the wrap, creating an unforgettable explosion of savory goodness. The white sauce was equally delightful, adding a creamy and tangy element to the overall flavor profile.

Located conveniently off Harbor Blvd in West Sacramento, Shah's Halal Food offers ample parking, making it easily accessible for diners. The reasonable prices, combined with the endearing ambiance, make it an irresistible dining destination.

What truly sets Shah's Halal Food apart is the authenticity of their dishes. Each bite transported me to the bustling streets of the Mediterranean, with flavors that are true to the roots of this cuisine. It's a testament to their commitment to using quality ingredients and traditional cooking techniques.

In conclusion, Shah's Halal Food is a must-visit for Mediterranean food enthusiasts in West Sacramento. From the friendly service to the mouthwatering falafel wrap and the delightful sauces, every aspect of the dining experience is exceptional. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or a satisfying dinner, this place has it all. Prepare yourself for an authentic taste adventure, and I guarantee you'll be eager to...

Okay, so let me start by saying this spot is a 5 star all the way around. The Food. The Service. The quality. The price point. Overall super official and worth a stop. I go weekly. But my MAIN issue is the fried foods they set a timer for all foods they deep fry and I think its company standar because the items are consistently over fried. The little mini hockey puck falafel have great flavor but if they were fried 1-2 minutes LESS they would be great! Actually something to compete with other halal chicken/gyro spots that serve falafel. Trust me go there try all the things. Everything is delicious but the times they have set for each item is way off. Things are always consistently over friend. The pakora chips so flavorful but to crispy for how thin they are. It's a little change that would make a huge difference in the quality of those fried items. But shout out the night crew for always delivering quality food with a smile on their faces and happy...

We heard a lot of good things about their food, and were glad that we finally got to try it out. This restaurant is amazing, everything about it is so great. The quality of the food and cleanliness of the restaurant. The taste of the food is so delicious as well as the price of the items is also affordable. The portion size is so humongous in such a way that it is hard to finish it in a single sitting. Till date, we have tried the chicken, lamb, and kofta kabab platters, and it has all been absolutely delicious. The platters have veggie options to add on, like lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, peppers, and protein options like chicken, lamb, fish. Their fries are remarkably tasty as well. The red sauce is really hot, and has a lot of flavor in it. They also have choices of sauces, like white, BBQ, and green chili chutney. Customer service was exceptional. For sure, we will be one of the habitual...

I lived off this stuff in college so when I found out the West Sac spot was open, I had to try it. Their mix over rice is better than I remember it and was great. Tender chicken thigh and lamb meat with very filling rice. The white sauce and hot sauce are just like I remember it. This spot has options that are different from the food truck as well. I also got the koftka kebab over rice and I didn't like it as much as the mixed over rice. The meat was a bit chewier and wasn't as flavorful as the chicken or the lamb. All in all, I'll definitely go back to hit those college cravings. The owners are super cool and nice to talk with as well.
