I placed an order through DoorDash which was Chicken Fettuccine and a garlic roll. The Fettuccine comes with a side salad or soup, I picked salad. I called the resturant to inform them that instead of the regular salad I wanted to upgraded to a Ceasar Salad.(those were my exact words) The empolyee said okay it will be a $2.00 extra charge.(no problem go ahead and add it, add he did)Not knowing my order would include a roll of bread and butter I added a Garlic Roll for another $2.00.

I finally recieved my order and have been left very disappointed. The salad I recieved was not by any means Ceasar. It did not have Romano cheese or croutons like implied on the restaurants menu, all I got was Ceasar dressing, lettuce with Kidney beans and Garbanzo beans on top. I'm not sure how upgrade to a Ceasar salad was misinterpreted to I just want Ceasar dressing.(after I recieved my order I called the restaurant back and was told the upgrade was misinterpreted...how!?!...if I wanted plain Ceasar dressing I would of asked for just that not a complete upgrade) The Garlic roll I ordered was a joke, there was absolutely no garlic just a piece of bread lightly toasted with butter. The Chicken Fettuccine was very very bland(I had to doctor it up to make it taste better), the little bit of chicken in the dish was slightly flavorful but as a whole nothing spectacular by any means.

I gave one stars, one for the noodles being well cooked and the Fettuccine dish tasting okay once it was tweaked by myself. I definitely will not be a customer for this restaurant ever again, first impressions are usually the last. I must say I am very disappointed once again and feel like I wasted my...

We enjoy eating their sirloin steak entrees. Includes choice of soup or salad, plus choice of pasta with the steak.

Normally in the past we ordered their two-steak dinner, which is what I call a complete meal. Usually we have leftovers...Tonight we had an engagement after dinner and forgot to bring my insulated container to store any leftovers! That's why we choose a smaller entree yet it was just as delicious and a good portion served. 😋

You order steak to your liking, well cooked medium or etc. Fresh bread and butter is delivered to your table soon after your order is taken.

Our two friends ordered steak sandwiches. First time we seeing steak sandwiches. We all were impressed with the portion of meat served...not bits or sliced up pieces, but a nice steak on top of the bread.

Service staff is friendly. Atmosphere is comfortable with plenty of local patrons eating at Vince's, as us.

A long time establishment, plain basic appearance, inside and out. You can whiz by without noticing it. Yet easy access, about a block away from I-80 freeway, exit on Harbor Blvd.

It is one of our favorite restaurant for good hearty food and...

This place describes itself as “unpretentious,” but by that, they seem to mean unprofessional and unconcerned for guests.

The place is very dark, and 1/3 of the lights have not been replaced after going out. So, that didn't help. The place seemed overcrowded with tacky decor and unnecessary clutter. It isn't even close to as bright and open as the old photos make it appear.

The hostess and waitress staff were very confusing in their rude behavior. They were inattentive, not at all friendly, and seemed unprepared for anyone coming in.

The food was unseasoned. My wife and I got an appetizer and pasta that didn’t even have salt added to either—extremely bland food and poorly cooked. The best meal was my daughter’s kid burger, that was actually well made and impressive for its price.

The really bothersome thing is they charged us extra for ordering “bar food” when all we did was order some appetizers from the menu provided. It made no mention of any extra charge for ordering an appetizer. Just an odd set up. Odd staffing. Odd pricing. Just doesn’t seem designed to encourage people to come.

I would highly discourage anyone...

Took my family here for the first time. I had heard many great things about Vince's, especially since The Pheasant Club had closed. West Sacramento has few sit-down family-style restaurants. The atmosphere is very old Italian, something out of a film. The bar area is quite large. We were given a table in a very bright noisy part of the restaurant where a curtain divided the room and a large birthday celebration was happening. The table next to us was having a celebration as well and was extremely loud and inebriated. The atmosphere was not great. The server was nice and attentive. FOOD - pros - the NY steak was good. The ribeye was very fatty and thin. The minestrone soup was delicious. The house white wine was nice - sweet and smooth. The baked lasagna wasn't bad. The berry cobbler and chocolate mousse was yummy. Cons - The canoli was small and very sweet. The fish and chips was awful. Would not recommend. The fish was extremely dry, flavorless, and tasted freezer -burned. I would go back and try something different. I would stick with the pasta and soup.

Ate here for a Friday night dinner with the fam, and can't wait to go back! Not a West Sac local, but live about 15 mins north and can't believe I've been missing out on this place my whole life! The vibe was so neat. Felt so homey and relaxed. My husband and I got a steak dinner, while the kids got spaghetti and ravioli's. We were all extremely happy with the serving size and everything was delish. Service was exceptional. We will definitely be back sooner, rather than than later. Looking fwd to going when the weather is nice and sitting on their cute front patio.
