My post is more about the service than the food. Although I've always been happy with the food I had an experience with a few of the employees yesterday. I was driving down the road right in front of Taco Bell on Morgan Road in West springfield. It was rush hour and as usual it was a lot of traffic and everybody was impatient. The car in front of me had died. Poor girl had her hazards on and all the other drivers passing by her were honking and yelling. I pulled into the parking lot and went out to help the girl push her car out of the road. Not one car stopped. And I'm going to guess that at least 40 to 50 cars passed us. So with her trying to steer and push and me pushing behind her we weren't getting very far and to pull into their parking lot there's a slight upward angle. I couldn't believe that all these cars would leave this poor woman stuck like that. The next thing I know here comes two of the Taco Bell workers rushing out of their job to come and help. They were clearly trying to get it done quick so they weren't away from their job for too long but they too were shocked at the fact that nobody else pulled over to help. One of them was named Jesus and the other was named JP . I went back into the Taco Bell after to thank them and they both very modestly said of course we would help anyone stuc like that. If I owned a business that's the exact kind of employee I would want working for me. I will go one step further and send a letter to corporate for the owner once I figure out how. But if we had more people like Jesus and JP in the world it would certainly be a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWho wants to pay $12 for the least expensive combo (3 small rapid-fire, poorly-constructed tacos and drink)? They deleted their last, one and only reasonably-priced $6 combo. Now, all combos are over $10.. One small regular soft taco costs $2.68 with tax. The "dollar menu" items are now $2... A half-full pouch of (air-puff) fried cinnamon twists is $2.90? It's the minimum wage raising prices in Massachusetts. The same combos in other states cost half... The lazy, entitled, millennial, booger-eating employee throwing your food out the window is the reason the prices have doubled. They're making minimum $16/hr. Soon to be $20 but they're not worth $5/hr . Dine elsewhere or better yet, make your own, it'll be cheaper and healthier š. These fast food joints are pricing themselves out of business. We won't return----not that we "can't" afford it, we refuse to pay it and support this ungrateful business and their smug employees.. It ain't worth the...
