El Pollo Royo — Restaurant in West Valley City

My wife asked what ingredients are in the súper nachos. The new kid mentioned what it contained so we said no tomatoes(while it'd mentor us right next to him to correct him or guide him).

Once I received my food of torta de asada and my wife got her nachos. She noticed it had guacamole. She is allergic to guacamole. So she decided to take it back since guacamole wasn't mentioned.

The "doña grouchy" in the kitchen only took 5 mins to replace the order only to find out she had taken the guacamole out and tried to hide what was left on that exact plate she had first given us.

Do they not take food best practices seriously? Yes I am upset, I prepped food for 8 years and health was the main concern to serve our customers. Unfortunately miss doña grouchy gave an attitude about the whole thing and I had it and asked for my refund repeatedly!

We are not complaining of the food being tasteless, it was actually really good to our surprise. But the attitude and laziness and careless of people's health is what really set this restaurant and other greats apart.

Sorry guys, but please be concerned about...

This place was good, however the service from the cash register young girl is not. When we went my s.o specifically asked what comes on your burritos, he asked as he does not like tomatoes nor onions, well she told him no onions came in it, but when we got the burrito and he bit it it had onions.....

I went over to her and said, hey this has onions and she looked at me with a crazy look and said it doesn't have onions. I took a bite and tasted, then saw onions and I showed her. She then said well you didn't say you didn't want onions....

I said well you said it had NOOO onions, I said he doesn't eat onions so we want a new burrito with no onions. She rolled her eyes took the burrito and told the cook to remake it. Her attitude alone made us not ever want to comeback.

The chicken rolled tacos were good, the torta was really yummi - and that's it. The chicken is bland, the rice is really really bland, the French fries reminded me of Jr high cafeteria fries as they are the criscut fries.

We will not be going back to this...

This is the worst service i have ever gotten. I called first to see if they would deliver to my location and I was told I am outside of their delivery range, which is fine and I would need to order at least 2 orders of full cooked chickens in order to get service. i understand that, because I am a marketing person, they have to cover their cost. five minutes later I called to place an order and I was told that on top of expending double the amount I'd expend for my family, I had to pay a sur charge of $5 extra dollars for them to be able deliver to deliver my potential food. I was supposed to expend maybe 19.00 dollars and i was willing to expend 38.00 dollars for them to deliver. Does that make sense????? Please if you are a returning customer let me know if I am wrong. But if I am willing to expend double the money in your establishment at least give me some credit and deliver. On top of that I would tip the delivery...
