J & J Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in West Valley City

I got takeout for the three item combo. The food was pretty good. I got the orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef broccoli, chow mein, and leafy greens. The beef broccoli was my favorite. It tastes like it was covered with soy sauce. I hate having soggy broccoli but with the broccoli here it was crunchy but soft to my liking. Same with the orange chicken. Sometimes at different restaurants it's too crunchy or soft but this was perfect. The chow mein was pretty soft and sticky. With the sweet and sour chicken it tasted a bit weird. It tasted like oranges with lots of vinegar. It was still okay just interesting to taste. However, I definitely recommend ordering from this restaurant especially the orange chicken and beef broccoli. I love their barbecue pork and that's why I go there but today they really did me wrong. I asked if there was an avaliable fresh batch of the Broccoli Beef because the one there looked old. She said it was coming so I waited a couple of minutes. I like my broccoli green so I don't mind waiting. Dish comes out and I was distracted on my phone so I didn't see what I was served. My mom has been taking me to this place for as long as I can remember, and I always love it! I almost always order the same thing. Orange chicken, chow mein and bbq pork. I absolutely love the orange chicken and chow mein!

I can't remember a time where I didn't go here at least once every couple of months! It's like a special treat. It's inside of Smiths as well, which is even better, since my family almost always goes to that store. It's so convenient for this place to be in the store in my opinion.
