University of Utah Hospitals — Attraction in West Valley City

Dr. Pena-Renteria is awesome. Really friendly and answers all my dumb questions in a friendly, professional manner. I feel really comfortable with him.

He also had a student with him. Unfortunately I do not remember her name and it’s not on my after visit summary, but she is very friendly and helpful.

Marissa and Claudia also helped me today with vitals and things. They were both very friendly and nice.

This is a great clinic with great staff. I’m kind of a weird person with a lot of anxiety. And that anxiety heightens at the doctor because I don’t like going. But even though I’m in there being all weird and goofy, they still treat me with respect and don’t make me feel dumb.

Despite some really ugly reviews (I blame unrealistic expectations and a hell of a lot of sociopaths) I PROMISE you that this is a well-run hospital with some of the best Physicians I have ever seen! I am recently retired and my health has fallen apart. I don't want to seek medical care, but I have to...and the good people at the University of Utah Hospitals have helped on so many levels! I thought my debt with them was taken care of, because I sent in application for financial assistance and never received a letter or calls for payment after that.
