I was going to only give this Olive Garden 3 stars because I've been there 4 times and 3 of the 4 times our order was either totally wrong or seriously undercooked. My dining companion and I always try to go during non peak times so that we can get a seat right away. I always get the soup and salad which are pretty consistent, but my dining companion likes the Seafood Alfredo, which he ordered each time we've visited. The first and third visits his meal was undercooked so much so that the noodles were almost crunchy, the second visit he got a completely different meal than what he ordered and the waiter argued with him that he had ordered the shrimp linguine. On all three visits the wait staff took their sweet time coming over after our food arrived to see how our food was. I would understand this if we were there during rush periods, but there was hardly anyone else in the restaurant. Once we explained the issues they always offered to remake the meal which is fine, but when they dropped off the new meal they each boasted that we had gotten our meal for free, when in fact we were charged full price. We weren't looking for a free meal or a discount, but to have them actually come out and make a big deal of it and then not even get a slight discount is just in poor taste. To top it all off, my companion had to have his remade meal boxed because we had already been there for over an hour.
I was resistant to visit this restaurant again given their history with our meals, but my dining companion thought we should give them one last try. We had a late family dinner towards their closing time.. anyways I had forgotten my wallet and didn’t realize until I got home. I tried calling but they were already closed. I called first thing in the morning and they told me there was no wallet. I argued w them bc I know I left my wallet there. I left work and physically went to the location bc I know it was there. I talked w the associates and manager on duty the said there was no wallet. I was very frustrated bc I know I left my wallet but what could I do. I end up calling a few hours later bc I thought maybe the night crew would know something. What do you know my wallet is in the safe?!! The same safe everyone else checked?! Idk anyways I showed up to the location to get my wallet and all of my cash is gone $380 in fact. It’s not about the money it’s the integrity of this staff. I was one of the last customers that night and I know I had left my wallet and nobody knows anything smh. I’m disappointed and frustrated and I am still waiting to hear from the GM. I understand some of us are under going hard times but that does not justify what happened. I work hard for my family and for a staff to rob me and take what I work hard for is disappointing. Read moreI previously visited this restaurant, same location, and I noticed that when you go in the evening, no matter the day of the week, they neglect the service a bit by focusing on doing their activities at the close of operations for the day (I know hows work Back stores, I worked at restaurants too) . The last time, we were seated at 8:45 p.m., we were not attended by who should be our waiter until 9:10 p.m. and we were a group of 8 people, after us, they sat next to our table another party and they were cared promptly by the waiter assigned to that area. By the time our orders arrived, that group was ready to order dessert :-/. Everything we ordered took too long, there were errors in the order when they brought it to the table, obviously when they ran the error, it took much longer. We requested to speak with the manager to report what happened and him (Jason) was very kind to handle the situation. We emphasized that our waiter was very friendly and was on the lookout for anything we needed, but apparently the problem occurred in the kitchen area. They offered an apology for what happened and we are grateful for how the situation was resolved. I like Olive Garden a lot, their Chicken Ñoki and Tuscan soup is excellent and they had a few new entrée options.
