I went directly to their website to file a complaint, but just kept giving me an error message saying "access denied". So here i am... Hopefully someone who can actually do something about the problem, will see this. Super convienant location, I go there almost daily. But the past couple of months I have noticed a substantial decline in quality and customer service. Mostly customer service. The wait time for the drive thru is beyond ridiculous and completely unacceptable, as far as customer service goes. Last night I started my stop watch to see just how long the wait is, 25 minutes later, YES 25 minutes. I finally got up to the window to pay. The typical, average wait time (busy or not) is at least 10 - 15 minutes. That's a fact, only to have them rushing thru me to get to the next customer, and mess my order up. That has happened a few times where I am just so annoyed and over the whole thing, that I just keep what they messed up and go home. The manager who I'm told's name is Alyssa or Alysha (not completely sure) seems like she is drunk or high everytime I see her and she acts like she could care less about your complaint or concern, so I just stopped talking to her. The lady at the drive up who takes payment (not sure of her name, which sucks) is so awesome, friendly, patient and funny!!! Shes probably the only reason why I am even still going to that location. All of her superiors should take a lesson on customer service from her, shes amazing and i wish i knew her name 😢 but after last nights almost 25 minute wait, i will no longer be going to that location. I will make the extra trip to go to the one in magna, which is kind of out of the way, but this location is that bad. You see person after person that has been waiting in line at the drive up, give up on waiting and just leave. Ive done that a few times as well...also the person taking orders tell you to wait a moment, and continues to take order after order at the drive thru next to you. Like 5 cars go thru before they help you...I had to finally say HELLO...IS ANYONE THERE TO TAKE MY ORDER? its beyond ridiculous...someone needs to do something about that location...their practices are completely unacceptable. But what do i know, I'm just another customer. Ok rant over!!! Avoid this place...
Read moreI witnessed the manager of the drive-through berate the employee that was handing out food through the window because she had somehow mixed up the orders, and given us part of another order with part of ours. He didn't try to correct it, he didn't try to make a difference, he just tried to give her 'directions' while rushing back and forth from the kitchen area to the front counter talking over his shoulder.
I heard her ask at least three times what he would wanted her to do to correct the issue, since my kids had already opened at their Happy Meals, and apparently they can't take them back after that. Although, I couldn't hear his responses, I could tell that she continued to get more and more frustrated, and it makes me question his ability as a manager to not be able to correct the issue with one statement and make an employee asked 3 times what to do to fix something. By the end, when she handed me the rest of the food and the chicken nuggets that they had missed in our kids Happy Meals, she was nearly in tears and appear to give us the last part of our order without making eye contact, and then rushing out of the serving area.
I don't know what he said or why it was such a big deal that she had handed out the order incorrectly, but that kind of treatment of any employee is extremely unprofessional and incredibly unethical.
A simple mistake such as this could have been handled quite easily and without any problems, it doesn't take berating employees and causing them emotional distress and fear to resolve an issue of a simple issue. I would also venture to guess, by the attitude of the other employees that were looking around her, that this wasn't an unusual situation for them to be treated as such. Any one of them could have stepped in and helped her resolve the issue quickly instead of making her aske multiple times for assistance and direction.
The great thing about having so many McDonald's around, is if that's all the kids are willing to say what they want to eat I can visit another location quite easily. This location will never get my...
Read moreWell I can't say that I didn't know better. As a meat cutter we have a philosophy and policy, friends don't let friends eat at McDonald's. But of course, this only applies if you're not starving. Then we seem to drop power selectiveness.
If my phone hadn't been broke I would have lots of pictures of nasty looking food and a bad smelling restaurant.
I had a McRib, obviously the drive-thru was a bad idea. I had to take my sandwich and go inside the manager wanted to know what she could do for me. I opened the box with the McRib in it which showed as if, well let me put it like this have you ever been walking in slosh stomp your feet and the slush kind of spreads out around your feet. Well I think that's what the cook did with my sandwich the barbecue sauce was splattered around the box that it came in there was enough sauce that the Pattie or whatever that was, just slid out from between the buns. I guess the cook thought he could pull it off because we were at the drive up..if we had only noticed Carl's Jr and a couple other popular restaurants on the exact same block not far west on that street. I used to have my saying about friends don't let friends eat at McDonald's. It was because I saw the beef that went into their burgers. But whatever that thing was they called the boneless pork rib. All I can say is they should not have...
