Firstly, this McDonald’s is NOTORIOUSLY SLOOOW. If you go this location and it’s busy, you can expect to wait in the drive-thru for at least 15-20mins. If it were somewhere like Crown Burgers or Apollo Burgers where everything is made to order, somewhat slow service is expected. But McDonald’s is NOT made to order so it’s super frustrating that this location is ALWAYS slow. Even on occasion when you’re lucky to pull up and there are no cars in the drive-thru, they’ll still make you pull up to the last window to wait for your order.
Secondly, they get your order wrong pretty frequently. There was a coupon where you can get any breakfast sandwich for $2, and I’ve received sausage/cheese McMuffin when I ordered a sausage/egg/cheese McMuffin, and a sausauge/cheese McMuffin is only $1.69!! I always let that slide until one day I saw that the sausage/cheese McMuffin is only $1.69, and I paid $2 freaking dollars with the coupon!! So you can imagine my aggravation when I realized that I’d been allowing myself to be OVERCHARGED and using a coupon by not going to back to have them give me the correct order, but I wasn’t going to get upset about it, I just decided I wouldn’t let them get away with giving me the wrong order anymore.
Lastly, tonight was the straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak, hence why I’m writing this review. I ordered a #1 LARGE, no onions, Dr. Pepper no ice. As per usual, I was asked to park and wait for my order. They brought out my order and I didn’t check it until I got home and saw they had given me a MEDIUM FRY and it was then I realized my drink was medium as well. Given my aggravation over how I had been ripped off before when given a sausage/cheese McMuffin that’s only $1.69 regular price and paid $2 for the sausage/egg/cheese McMufdin, I was determined to go back to have them make it right with my receipt in hand showing I PAID for large. I told them thru the speaker what happened, they told me to pull up to the first window; the person on the speaker apparently didn’t tell the guy at the 1st window what was going on because he was like, “You had the McChicken?” So I had to explain to him what happened and showed him the receipt. He told me to pull up to the next window and they’d have my large drink/fry. I get to the next/2nd window and the kid asks me the same thing, “You had the McChicken?” SO I HAD TO EXPLAIN MYSELF A THIRD EFFING TIME AND SHOWED HIM THE FRIES AND DRINK WERE MEDIUM!! Then he says, “Go ahead and give me your fries and I’ll switch it out.” I replied, “Absolutely not!! I’m keeping them for the inconvenience!! That’s the least you could offer me since I had to drive back here.” He walks away and some other worker out of view says, “HELL NO!! No, no, no.” Then that worker comes into view and says, “Excuse me ma’am, you can’t keep the fries.” I asked, “Why not?!?! Y’ALL got the order WRONG and you’d have to throw them out anyway?!?! Letting me keep the fries is the least you can offer since I had to drive back here.” She says, “I know, but you can’t keep the fries.” I shoved the fries into her hand then she went and got a large fry, (probably put the fries from the medium into the large then added a few more on top because my fries were cold by the time I got home to eat) then I left. When I got home the fries were cold. I called the restaurant and spoke with a manager, Paul. He apologized and said “they’ve”, (I’m guessing corporate?) have been really strict on them for waste management, but he took my name and said he’d comp my next meal, just tell them I spoke to Paul. So thank you, Paul, for making it right, but your employees need to be more focused on customer satisfaction.
Chick-Fil-A would NEVERRR take back an order they got wrong. Chick-Fil-A would apologize, give the customer the right order, offer whatever treat the customer wants for free for the inconvenience, and comp the next meal as well!! So take a few notes from Chick-Fil-A: make sure your customer is happy and will come back again!! Poor form WVC...
Read moreWorst Mickydees ever. After waiting at my table with a table number tent for 10 minutes I went up to find out the delay on getting my chicken tenders. No one could find my order as it was 10+ minutes old and too far back in their system. Manager came over to help but he refused to give me the food I had just paid for. After a 20 minute argument, I went online and proved that I had indeed been charged for the food to my credit card. By this time apparently they were out of chicken tenders and the manager offered nothing. Telling me "sorry but goodbye".... WHAT! No offer of any other food or other my money back. I had to demand my money back, which they reluctantly did give me back.
Long story: I was ushered to use the kiosk to buy my meal. I did just this and bought a 4 pc chicken tender and drink. I paid and no receipt was printed. No big deal though because I've used these machines at least 100 times at various MDs around Utah and it seams that 40% of the time they don't print a receipt. My wife did her order on an adjacent machine and hers didn't print a receipt either. After 10 minutes of waiting they called her kiosk/table number and I decided to go up with her as I placed my order first. After asking where my order was compared to hers, they couldn't find it. I assume it got erased off the screen. They kept brushing me off to other employees before the manager said he'd find it. NOPE. He told me there is nothing he can do. GOOD BYE. No Receipt no proof, so I pulled up my CC transactions and wallah, there's the charge. Presented this to him and he agreed, that I had paid but again said there's nothing he can do because they are now out of 4pc chicken tenders. Never was there an offer for some other menu item. At this point I was floored and had to loudly demand my money back; which he...
Read moreThis was written about 3-4 years ago and I’ve never gone back since to check if they have fixed their service so take this with a grain of salt:
Would give it NEGATIVE rating if I could. I ordered through the mobile app because I expected to get it earlier and the line for drive was too long. waited 20 minutes and they gave us the WRONG order. My family member has also been here before and ordered 40 nuggets and got 30 so when they called the management said we could come back next time and pick up the other 10. I asked for my correct order and the 10 and then we were told to pull up to the second window. Got there and proceeded to get another WRONG ORDER and watched them take it back even thought it had already touched my hands. Goes back and forth and can’t figure out my order or where it went. The manager comes to the window and proceeds to yell at me to go to the next window. We move to the next one and she begins yelling at me for the receipt in my correct order when I ordered online and got the wrong order??? I showed her multiple times on the app that my order was right there and she kept saying I never paid even though it already charged my card. She yells at me more and more and I show her my incorrect order and she proceeds to TAKE THAT BACK TOO. She also tells me multiple times when i’m showing her my recent orders that she can’t touch my phone but she takes back all the food i’ve touched?? She then says she can’t find my order and then after more yelling at me she leaves saying she all of a sudden found only a PART of my order. When they come back, my food is THROWN in my face and they leave immediately. I expected compensation or a refund because I ended up 40 minutes there for what? they didn’t even give us the right order. Never...
