Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in West Valley City

Updated 8/27/2024: Was just an off day when I originally ordered the boneless wings it seems.

Was contacted by Travis Buxton (district manager). He apologized and mentioned there were some supply issues recently affecting a few of their stores in regards to the boneless wings. Issue was resolved. My wife and I recently went back and both our meals were delicious and fresh :)

Not great service or food today :(

I generally get their chicken fingers, wings, fries and/or fried pickles. Those items have always been fantastic and delicious! I like Zaxby's fingers far more than Raising Cane's.

Today however, I went at an off time (3:30) and used one of their app deals to finally try their boneless wings. The boneless wings were the worst I have ever had, anywhere.

The app deal was BOGO 10 piece boneless wings - normally would have paid $22 but instead paid $11 . Ordered takeout and the food was ready when I got there. Nobody in sight to say thankyou to for the quick service. Anyway, Got home 10 min later and opened the two boxes to find the scrawniest, dried out looking breading and very small and uneven portions in the 2 boxes. The sauce could barely even make them moist enough to chew through, however the chicken was still warm. Both breading and meat were extremely dried out!

Maybe these had just sat under the heating lamp for 30 min? Perhaps they had the BOGO deal just to get rid of the runt-reject boneless wings in the bottom of the bag? In either case, I will not be ordering boneless wings from Zaxby's ever again. I'd have enjoyed buying Tyson chicken chunks and throwing them in the air fryer at...

A year ago, I bought a Wasatch savings card and used it ONCE before my son found it and hid it in the heater vent. By the time I found it again, it was already expired. 😪 so this year, I bought another card and I made a goal to use it as much as I could to make it worth it for myself (especially if it gets "lost" again.) Anyway, that goal brought me and my family to zaxbys. Not only does the card have so many great deals, but it helps me to save a little money in the process. We were new to zaxbys, so I really didn't know what to expect. We were all pleased with the food we received. It ended up that we were there on half price zalad day, but I didn't know that prior to placing my order. (And I ended up getting a zalad). I was very happy to learn that they gave me half price for my zalad and also let me still use my Wasatch savings card as well. (Even though they probably should've just let me have one discount instead of both.) My kids were happy with their food items and I enjoyed mine as well. My only complaint: it took us a long time to get through the drive through. And that's sometimes tricky when there are 4 kids in the car. 😜 in any case, we were satisfied with our experience. I'm glad I was able to try them out since they were on my Wasatch...

Had my first ever Zaxby’s visit at this location back on August 4th of this year (2025) considering I live all the way in California. I love the variety in different chicken items that they have (Got me the Wings & Things combo with Buffalo as the wing option.) since I love both buffalo wings and chicken fingers (especially considering my Raising Cane’s experience in Fresno from 2022) and I have never had any better chicken than here. Additionally, I love the taste of the Zax sauce and was glad to encounter a blessing of the modern-day, the CocaCola Freestyle Machine where I always get me a CocaCola Vanilla from whenever I find one at a fast food place.

Additionally, I have encountered no problems with service and I haven’t found anything negatively notable about this location’s environment. Hope the best not only for this location, but the franchise itself, especially as it expands...
