Thai This — Restaurant in West Valley City

First off my companion hadn't had Thai food before and really enjoyed it, I think that this is a very good place for someone to be introduced to Thai food without it being too intimidating or overbearing.

The strip mall that this is in has pretty limited parking and has 2 other restaurants. I ended up parking in the back. The inside was pretty basic, but clean and tidy which is something I appreciate.

We had Beef Pad Thai and Chicken Massaman Curry. The Pad Thai came without all of the little goodies, not even a lime wedge. The Massaman Curry came very thin, to me curries are usually more of a gravy, stew or sauce and this was more like a broth. The flavors for both dishes were pretty mild and for me a little bland, but not off-putting.

I gave them 3 stars because THE SERVICE WAS REALLY GOOD AND THE INTERIOR WAS CLEAN AND INVITING. I think is quite reasonable because I could have made the same quality of food at home from a box of Simply Asian, but didn't feel...

We haven't been here since they reopened so we decided to call in a pickup order. We called them at 7:24, put in our order and they told us it would be 25 minutes. We waited about 20 minutes and went to pick it up, when we got there it wasn't ready yet, not a problem, we started to wait. At 8:45 we still had not gotten our food, we asked if we could just get a refund instead of waiting longer and they kept saying "it's almost ready" and after another 10 minutes we asked again and the lady started yelling at us. They said that it was too big of an order so they waited to start preparing it until we arrived, which still didn't make any sense. We only ordered 4 meals which I feel is pretty standard? But either way it still should have taken that long and there was no reason to yell at us in the middle of the restaurant because they misquoted the time. The food is good, but this definitely ruined any chance of us...

Thai This is a fantastic spot for delicious food and great service. The pho soup is rich, flavorful, and so delicious. The garlic chicken is my favorite dish. It is perfectly crispy, tender inside, and covered in an amazing garlic sauce that makes it unforgettable.

Another must-try is the Thai This fried rice with seafood and pineapple. The seafood and the pineapple pieces add just the right touch of sweetness and savory flavors. It is colorful, flavorful, and a plate full of flavor. Yum yum!

The staff is always welcoming, the portions are generous for the price, and the cozy atmosphere makes you want to come back. If you are looking for authentic flavors and a consistently great dining experience, Thai This should be at the top...
