A Sushi Affair at Sushi House

Tonight marked my inaugural visit to Sushi House, and I must say, it was a delightful journey for my taste buds, albeit with a few bumps in the service lane.

Let's start with the star of the show—the sushi. The quality-to-price ratio at Sushi House is commendable, with each bite of the carefully crafted rolls delivering a burst of freshness and flavor. The Valentine Roll, in particular, deserves special mention; it's a delectable masterpiece that I highly recommend.

On the flip side, the customer service left a bit to be desired. While the food arrived promptly, the overall service could use a touch-up. Perhaps a bit more attentiveness and warmth would elevate the dining experience to match the excellence found in their sushi creations.

Despite the service hiccup, I left Sushi House with a satisfied palate and a newfound appreciation for their affordable yet delicious sushi offerings. If you're willing to trade off a bit on service for a sushi experience that won't break the bank, Sushi House is worth a visit. I'll certainly be back for another round of...

2 stars because the rolls were good. Otherwise the service was terrible. Ignored, constantly waiving down ANYONE to give us what we required, when asked if the egg drop soup was vegetarian the server retorted 'Are eggs vegetarian?' Instead of knowing the product serving. Also half of the meal was served then 10min later the other half. The server could not identify the rolls being served and point out which was which. Then would go off and ignore us again, even giving backrubs to the other family/server and watching their phone. Even when finally checked upon at the end of the meal we asked for a box. They returned with the bill slapped down directly in front of me instead of discreetly on the table end. Then yelled I'm getting your box!'when asked about it.. Finally I stood up to induce we were ready to pay because he never came back to take the card...only 2 tables in that the time were full. It was only when doordash person came in fid he run up to the til and helped the Doordarshan...

Scary!! This was our first time visiting. The bathroom was horribly dirty which was the first warning sign. There were cleaning supplies in the bathroom that clearly weren't being used, a dark grime all in the spaces between the floor and walls. A piece of dark matter on the floor that made me think of rodents, but I wasn't going to pick it up to find out. The restaurant is noticeably dirty. When looking into the kitchen there are dirty splatters of previous foods on the fridge and the glass the fish is behind is speckled and also dirty. We ordered two rolls. Upon taking a bite the rice was oddly wet and fell apart. The taste of the fish was overwhelming and clearly off, none of the elements could be tasted and the fish... juice... permeated the rice to add another level of discomfort. We did not try more in worry for our health and excused ourselves. The...

My Las Vegas roll was burnt and the California rolls rice couldn’t even stay on. I left and only paid for the alcohol. Don’t waste your time if you are looking for decently priced sushi. The server seemed terrified when I asked if they could replace the sushi. Manager refused to replace my Las Vegas rolls saying “That this was the best he could do.” He has no pride in the food he serves. He refused to acknowledge that there was no tempura batter on a fried sushi roll. Don’t come here. You get what you pay for. They advertise everything as 50% but those are just the set prices.

Always great service and yummy food! My favorite place to stop at when in the area. I love that they serve a good variety of Sushi as well as traditional staples like sweet and sour chicken, which my husband prefers. They also offer some really yummy curry dishes. There's always something there that I like. My favorite is to get the Japanese Lunch Special of two sushi rolls with soup, I love their miso soup, and it's less than $10 even when I add Green Tea. I really enjoy this restaurant, it's cozy and comfortable, I feel it's a great spot with good food at a good price.
