First time ever going & will be our last. (Beckley, WV) Food was definitely NOT worth the hype. AT ALL. Husband & I got the ribeye-added mushrooms, asparagas & texas fries. The steak had no flavor & was as tough as leather-so was the asparagas to the point I almost choked on both. Our texas fries had a strange & strong fumie/burnt plastic taste-couldnt eat them. I guess the best thing we tried was the triple dipper appetizer which costs too much for how much you get ($17) We did the big mouth bites (2 sliders), (4) bone-in buffalo wings & (2) of the spicy mozz. $17 for that?! They were nothing to write home about but definitely better than our main courses-atleast the appetizers were somewhat appetizing. As a first timer or even as a special something, they should offer a free goodie once they seat you like Cheddars does with the sweet croissants or Texas Roadhouse & The Outback does with their breads. Just SOMETHING to stand out from the crowd because their food or service sure isnt incentive enough to ever go back. The atmosphere & vibe from the staff was just off-none of them smiled or greeted us at any point EXCEPT for our waiter-he spoke because he had to & was polite but seemed very distracted. The worst dining experience we've had in a looong time & way too expensive! Our bill was $103 for everything I listed-nothing else! Such a waste of money & very...
Read moreFrom the time that my friend and I walked in and we're seated it was very friendly service. This was the first time my friend has ever been to a Chili's and I haven't been in a very long time. Our server was very patient in regards to actually taking our order because we didn't know what we wanted to eat. I'd imagine that would be a challenge being a server and wanting to be attentive to your customers yet at the same time being aware that they just need more time to figure out what they'd like to order. She did take our drink orders which arrived quickly and answered our questions about the menu items that we were debating about eating. We ended up placing our order and when the food got here it was so good. I had a quesadilla with chicken and cheese, extra pico's and sour cream and my friend had the Cajon shrimp pasta with alfredo sauce. During this time come on evereve customer was spaced-out in dining area and the specific restaurant followed guidelines if that's something that you're curious about before entering this restaurant. It was a great environment very chill and relaxing and the food was outstanding. Thanks for the wonderful service! Our server was personable and made for a good time...
Read moreI am utterly disgusted and completely mortified by the experience me and my uncle just had. People come into work and project their issues onto others. People have baby mamas but not wives, low paying jobs but not careers, kids but not happy homes, deaths but can’t afford to call off, I HATE TO TELL YA BUT THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM. If I have to grit and bare the smart mouthed people at my job you need to do the same. Stop projecting your depression onto other people. If you can’t afford a therapist it is not my problem.
Richard Hairston was our server and was very rude. He had the worst attitude out of anyone I ever have seen working. You would have thought he owned the establishment.
After 45 minutes of waiting my uncle politely asks our server Richard Hairston where our food was because we were waiting his response….
Richard: I assume when the food is ready. I am not the cook.
I have never been more disrespected in my life at a restaurant. The manager apologized gave us gift cards and is truly awesome. I am making this review so you can see what type of employee this person is. I understand being busy but that should be absolutely unacceptable at any...
