My complaint isn't the food, it's amazing. My complaint is the management. All of it. First off, my friend and her boyfriend both applied, not a big deal, they just couldn't work on the same shift which also isn't a a big deal. However, the general manager and assistant manager are dating and both work on the same shift. My friend had to work on the same shift as her bf bc she was the only one that would cover for a call off and then ended up getting a write up. Not cool. Next, she was working register on a shift and at the end of the day the drawer was short $10 and she wasn't the only one that operated the register that day and was told that it sometimes gets messed up and will fix itself in the morning (which is total BS) but if it didn't that her paycheck would be docked and she would get wrote up. They didn't even bother checking cameras or anything since she wasn't the only one on the register. They were accusing her yet had no proof. Basically, someone else took from the drawer and she was the one that got in trouble for something she didn't do and was gonna have to deal with the consequences of someone else's actions. My friend, of course, knows exactly what happened. My friend does not steal, especially at a job. She quit the next day needless to say. Since then, the assistant manager's sister started there and has lied on at least 4 people, all men, and gotten them fired. I'm writing this to warn anyone, especially men, to never try to work there. The female managers will do anything and everything to get them fired, especially if you disagree with them. If ya do work there and happen to be a man and on day shift, prepare to be worked like a dog bc the girls will work ya like one. And if ya ever complain or disagree expect to be lied on and fired. General manager isn't as bad as the assistant manager and her sister. The assistant manager is always on the her phone and wont help at all but gets mad if the rest fall behind and she NEEDS to and screams and yells at general manager for not doing her job and stuff, they are dating so they argue a lot whther there is customers or not. Basically, the management is horrible. Everything is everyone else's fault and they take no responsibility for anything but will be happy to take all the praise for even if they had nothing to do with it. There employee turn over rate is horrible bc of those three. I wouldn't suggest that place to work on my worst enemy. Those three are the reason I refuse to even eat there let alone try to work there. None of the rules they have apply to them and they will make it known. The District manager has no idea bc anyone that goes above the general manager gets yelled at and fired and called a liar to the district manager. It's the most horrible place my friend has ever worked at she said and so did her bf and they said they feel sorry for people that work or plan to work there. I would advise against it...
Read moreOnline ordering definitely saved me time. However, the food was just terrible. Burgers were soaking wet, falling apart, both buns were like mush. I definitely did not receive hot fries, but rather the bottom of the pile which was cold, and less than the usual amount too. We ate the burgers with fork/knife, but my girlfriend could not eat the buns. Pickup employee was behaving in an extremely rude and discriminatory manner, even giving me a "look" when I was waiting for the order to be complete! Never had an experience like this at Five Guys around the country, and will never come back to this one. The previous time we tried to call ahead and order, we were dealt with in a very rude manner, being told to "just order online man" when online ordering was not working. We went elsewhere but decided to give this another shot. How come these guys have such a high rating? Makes me question if it really was discriminatory, since they knew my name ahead of time. Highly disappointing experience....
Read moreWould you like some fries with that salt? Seriously disappointing experience from the food to the cleanliness of the location. The biggest offender was that the bacon on my burger was spoiled and tasted foul (didn't notice until the second bite because they loaded my burger with so many toppings I didn't order, which also made both buns completely soggy...gross). The location was also dirty (ketchup on the tables, sticky floor, ice all over the mats by the drink machines) and the fries were the saltiest fries I've ever tasted (seriously, they were coated in salt...I added a picture just because I was amazed they could get so much salt to stick to a french fry).
I've been to Five Guys all over the place and I generally love the food and even the salty fries, but these were like drinking saltwater and borderline inedible (the bacon was inedible). I've even been to this location before and had a better experience a few months ago, but this visit was a complete fail on...
